In one week, on October 9th, Student Coin will be officially closed, marking the end of our shared experience. Final Reminders After October 9th, the Student Coin Team will cease to operate, and we will close all remaining projects, systems, and servers. These have been maintained over the past six months to allow you to claim USDC for $STC tokens with our full support. We are proud to report that 93.7% of $STC tokens have already been burned (address: 0x00...dEaD), with almost all users successfully claiming their USDC. STC Wallet Users Please remember that all $STC tokens held in STC Wallets will be burned on October 9th, and all user data will be permanently erased. After this date, we will no longer provide support or address any issues, as our Support platform will also be closed. If you have not yet completed the redemption process, we encourage you to do so without delay. On-Chain Users While the STC Wallet-based redemption will no longer be available after October 9th, the decentralized on-chain redemption option will remain open until April 9, 2029. Users with $STC held in MetaMask, Ledger, or other DeFi wallets can manually burn their tokens to receive USDC directly to their wallets. Exchange-Based Users For those who have $STC tokens on centralized exchanges, please check your wallets and withdraw your tokens. As we do not have control over tokens held on external platforms, it is important that you follow the on-chain redemption process to claim your USDC. Dear Student Coin Community, After a detailed analysis and careful consideration of our situation, resources, and opportunities, we have reached the hard decision to discontinue the Student Coin project and use all of the remaining resources to repurchase all $STC Tokens. This decision, although difficult, is made with the highest responsibility towards our community. We have resolved to initiate the process of closing the Student Coin and redeeming all $STC Tokens. Our priority is a transparent and fair repurchase strategy for all token holders. The $STC Token Redemption plan will be calculated on an individual basis, taking into account the varied ways tokens were acquired, such as purchase prices, airdrops, and bonuses, to ensure fairness and equality. $STC Token Redemption will be conducted at a Price Above Market Value: In recognition of your support, the repurchase price will be significantly higher than the current market rate. Funds Allocation for Token Redemption: We are dedicating all of our current funds, intended for project development, to the token redemption process. This constitutes 91.5% of our project's total historical funding, ensuring a fair and complete redemption for all token holders. Immediate Token Burn: All tokens currently held by the Student Coin treasury will be immediately burned, with no redemption value. This action exceeds our initial promise and improves the value proposition for our community. The final deadline for redemption is October 9, 2024. This reminder is specifically for STC Wallet users who have not redeemed their tokens in the past six months. If you still have any remaining holdings in your STC Wallet, we strongly encourage you to complete the withdrawal process as soon as possible.
