SUAE REALLY DESERVE SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS MALE-CENTERED FANDOM
like the way that no matter what she does or say there will ALWAYS be either Eunhyuk or Dohwa stans hating on her is genuinely exhausting like every fucking week bro…
they keep projecting their own feelings and expectations onto Suae instead of actually trying to understand her character so the second she does or say something that hurt or doesn’t please their poor baby they turn against her but as soon as she does something that makes him happy suddenly they love her again. It’s like her entire worth as a character depends on how she treats their baby boy rather than who she is as an individual
why is it so easy for yall to understand and sympathize with everything Eunhyuk and Dohwa do but the moment it comes to Suae suddenly all that understanding and empathy disappear??? Why does she have to be perfect and understanding in every single situation just to get the same understanding yall give the male leads so easily??? What about her feelings??? What about how she actually feels?? I’m so tired fr just leave her alone…

People misinterpreting her words and intentions behind them, when they have the dialogues AND drawings right there is crazy work and on purpose at this point. Like… She needed to get this off, to let him know that him leaving did in fact impact her life unlike what he thought.
i’m not quite understanding what’s difficult to understand about suae saying she wishes eunhyeok was hurting…?
we see her tell eunhyeok that she thinks his admission only make her worth less than someone whom he looked after out of his guilt of because he thought she was his half-sister. she thinks she was someone who was never important to him so much so that he didn’t think to make her understand why he left
she had told him at the parking lot about how much she was hurting in the wake of his leaving. she admits to him now that she had wished he was hurting too. why? because that would’ve meant that she actually meant something to him, that whatever they had was real and that being apart it was hurting him just as it was hurting her, that she wasn’t the only only feeling pathetic
and suae knows these are cruel thoughts to have. why do you think she kept it in a taped box in a closet? she knows they’re shameful yet most honest feelings she had. she hold her hand to her heart as she shares the rawest feelings she’s had that she thought she needed to tell him at this moment not just for the sake of hurting him, but because she wants eunhyeok to understand her in the same way that she wanted to understand why he left her
i think it was very brave and human of suae to tell him. and it’s a stark reminder that this is suae’s story of learning what love is and sometimes it gets ugly

they have hard time understanding suae layered characters and complicated emotions but they swear she isn’t a complex character lol
Suae: Contrary to my expectations that he might simply disappear and never return, Go Eunhyuk showed up at my hospital room again, acting as though nothing had happened.
And Suae discharged and went back to her home… WITH EUNHYUK😭
E: Be careful with your leg.
End of the chapter….
After leaving the room Eunhyuk went to his car and he was thinking about Suae words…😔
“The truth is I wanted you to suffer. Really badly.”
“You could've at least spared me the sight of you living perfectly fine as if nothing had happened.”
Eunhyuk (monuluge):
Part of me was relieved that I at least appeared to be doing fine. But another part of me wondered if it would've been better if something about me had been visibly broken.😞 The fact that I was even thinking something like that at a time like this made a bitter, humorless laugh escape my lips. Had her voice been cold when she said those words? Or had it trembled slightly? It wasn't something I hadn't expected. I'd imagined her saying far worse things to me countless times. But actually hearing her say, in her own voice, that she'd wished for my suffering…
It hurt more than I'd prepared myself for.
Her words pierced me more deeply than any accusation or cruel remark I'd ever imagined. It was strange. I knew all too well that I had no right to feel hurt, and yet, somehow, I still did. One day, she'd wish for my safety. The next, she'd wish for me to suffer. One day, she'd pray for me, and the next, she'd curse me. Then she'd miss me, only to hate me again the following day…
Day after day, month after month, year after year..
“And then, one day, I realized that I'd actually rather you were suffering terribly than living a perfectly happy life. How do you think I felt when I realized that?”
Eunhyuk (monuluge):
How long must that softhearted girl have suffered all alone before she reached the point of wishing for my unhappiness?
The more I tried to imagine how much she'd suffered throughout all that time, the more shameless I felt for nearly falling apart over a few words of resentment.
It felt as though I were submerged deep underwater. My chest felt so tight that my lungs might burst, and I wanted nothing more than to run away somewhere, anywhere. But where could I go?
The only reason I'd come to Korea was here. In all of this vast city of Seoul, there was nowhere else for me to go….
Suae (monuluge): This was something i’ve never heard before. I always thought he looked after Yoo Raim because he liked her. It had never even crossed my mind that there might be another reason. But…
Suae: …Even if you two really had been half-siblings, it wouldn’t change anything. It would just mean I mattered even less to you than a half-sister you only looked after out of guilt. So don’t make excuses.
Eunhyuk:…I’m sorry.
Suae: Don’t apologize either. I don’t want to hear it. What’s the point of apologizing now, when I practically have to drag it out of you…?I think this situation has given you the wrong idea. I only used you because I didn’t have anyone else suitable to be my guardian. It doesn’t mean I want to make up with you.
Eunhyuk: …Okay.
Suae: …I’ll tell you a secret, too. There’s something I didn’t get to say back then in the parking lot. The truth is I wanted you to suffer. Really, really badly. I wanted to believe that life had become so unbearable for you, that you’d been pushed so far into a corner, so desperate that you had no choice but to abandon everything and run away. Because I thought that would make me feel a little less miserable. There were days when I’d cry because I was worried you might be falling apart. And then, one day I realized that I’d actually rather you were suffering terribly than living a perfectly happy life. …How do you think I felt when I realized that?
Eunhyuk: If I’d been hurting and suffering as much as you wanted me to… would you hate me a little less?
Suae: I already spent all those years believing that was the case. That’s the only reason I can even treat you like this now.
You should’ve just never come back. You should’ve stayed broken in my memories. Someone I could pity, someone I could feel sorry for, someone whose actions I could at least try to understand. You could’ve at least spared me the sight of you living perfectly fine, as if nothing had happened.
……
Suae (monuluge): I had said those words without hesitation, but I couldn’t bring myself to look him in the face, so I listened for any movement behind me. Go Eunhyuk remained silent for a moment. Then, he quietly approached me, pulled the blanket up to my shoulders, and left the hospital room.
I’m gonna kms

Eunhyuk finally told Suae about Raim and that he thought she was his half sister 😭😭😭
“Shim Suae, are you asleep? When I was little, I saw a magazine in my dad’s study. It was lying open on the table, all crumpled up, and that’s where I saw Yoo Raim.
She was with her mother. At the time, my dad was arguing with someone over the phone about something in that magazine… and I got the wrong idea. I thought Yoo Raim was my… half-sister. You know what my dad’s like with women. And the things he was saying on the phone just happened to be easy to misinterpret. I guess I was a pretty precocious kid for an elementary schooler. So I always looked out for her. Maybe it was guilt or something, because I thought she was the daughter of a woman whose life my dad had ruined. I only found out recently that I’d been wrong about the whole thing… But it turns out she knew what I’d mistakenly believed all along and just let me keep believing it. She used my misunderstanding to her advantage.
…When I left like that back then, of course I cut off contact with Yoo Raim, too. Then, a few years later we happened to run into each other again. It’s true that we kept in touch from time to time after that, but… It wasn't because she was an exception to me.”
