The best performing stock index between today (July 7) and the rest of the year will be:
Place your bets and lets track this puppy through the year.
40%Nasdaq 100
21%Dow Jones
28%SP500
10%Korea Kospi
515 votes • Final resultsI don’t see data center / AI stocks falling much (if at all) today
Two reasons:
One - most are down big over the past month anyway (markets don’t wait around)
And two … well, tune into @PowerLunch later today and I’ll tell you.
The #1 *economic* priority for the new Congress should be:
(and I didn't use 'affordability' as an option as all of these roll into that ... and I recognize Iran isn't pure 'economic' but goes to macro energy policy)
13%Tax policy
31%Tariffs
7%Data Centers
49%Energy policy (Iran)

This hits too close to home. @DanielSLoeb1
Only election surprise to market would be slight GOP hold on House or Senate. Otherwise little reaction.
Democrat tilt is what most polls indicate so market primed for that.
Three things Im watching today:
Texas: any Governor change could impact data center growth.
Michigan: hasn’t elected a GOP senator in 32 years.
Poll reliability: could be final nail in trust coffin if wildly off again
Go vote!
Forget the headline indexes.
It's an ugly day for the stock market.
Will show why in 10 mins on @PowerLunch
The weed of today is totally different than the weed of 20 years ago.
I'm told.
Could Massachusetts become the first U.S. state to reverse marijuana legalization?

Lots more chatter (again) about a possible peace deal with Iran (again).
Iran media (whatever that implies) reporting that the Ayatollah has granted the gov't the authority for talks.
After nearly 9 months it's easy to read this as "here we go again" but the Iranian economy is imploding and it is selling basically zero of its only product: oil.
They are no doubt also aware that the US has a huge military buildup in the region and there's a real chance strikes occur.
Oil down a touch right now. Next 72 hours will be critical.
@CNBC @PowerLunch
Stock futures mildly higher.
Leveraged ETFs and forced selling getting much of the blame for the down move the last 2 weeks.
If so, it could reverse. Leverage works both ways
That said, I’m still nervous about near term markets and all eyes on energy and Iran
Midterms won’t matter much for markets. Slight blue tilt expected.
Chargers are on the way to 0-7 and unwatchable football.
3-14 seems optimistic.

It's a good day any day we can learn something
Knowledge is good.
Replying to @SullyCNBC
@SullyCNBC Maplebear is the company's actual legal name — "Instacart" is just the brand it does business as.
Founder Apoorva Mehta incorporated it as Maplebear Inc. when he started the company in 2012, and they never changed the corporate name.
