We know many officers of the All India services and now the Army and public sector employees how they crave for attention of ruling party through blazing publicity of their routine functions. Now we also know of ambitious post service regulators in constitutional bodies like Election Commission , CAG etc vying for similar recognition with great dividends. One CAG went berserk beyond laying down his report and announced massive losses which were reported all over the country. Ministers resigned, arrested and then the courts let them go. Now here is a CEC who refuses to go despite proven mistakes which are being rectified by the EC itself in Delhi voters list. Meanwhile the nation wastes its time everyday with media, govt, opposition and experts only commenting on them as if the whole country is only about them. Running elections or working as CAG shd be done quietly without noise and correctly too. But it helps the retired IAS babus who then become chairmen of banks, jewellery companies, paint, hospitals and all kinds of corporate bodies - of course with the benevolent nod of the government. No wonder they keep quiet. Some are so wise also that now perceiving that tide is changing, they have started criticising police action in Cockroach protests and also other govt moves. Trust me the same will ride through another ruling dispensation. Babus are matchless. We are 90 years behind with this bureaucracy which will keep it there to serve the interests of Neta - Babu combine
