The simplest explanation for a lot of this is the Iran war - this was Trump's Afghanistan, but even worse.
The day before the war started, his approval on gas prices was 49% - within a few weeks it was in the low 30s!

Many Trump voters gave up, West Virginia is a great example
But the youth hates Israel, new voters coming in and Boomers go out

Lots of people are calling the Alaska "fake Dan Sullivan" scheme unethical but legal.
