Hi, friends. Shaysters here.
It is with a heavy heart to post that our beloved SuperBlindMan is no longer with us as of today.
@MistyRayburn was there by his side. Please allow her some time to grieve and be able to answer questions.

The #TLOU franchise is the first series I was able to play independently as a totally #Blind player. All because of the conviction, grit and pure force that was Brandon Cole. I only knew him for a while, but consider him a brother. The #Accessibility fight goes on in his memory.
Happy TLOU day. Once upon a time there was a man with a dream and he spoke that dream aloud at @GA_Conf. It manifested and TLOU 2 became fully playable for our totally blind friends and that man. He was proud till the day he died but he always hoped for more.

🤣 @TroyBakerVA @Naughty_Dog #Memories #FuckCancer
Yes I finally played the damn game and together we made a dent in this big world.
I told @troybakerVA that I loved what I had heard of The Last of Us at the time, but that my fiance hadn't finished playing it yet. He responded by saying "Play the damn game for him, woman!" Additional note, she has since played the full game. nitter.cf/thorsen1nk/status/1215…

On Global Accessibility Day, I should shout out to my great late friend @superblindman
I wouldn’t have been able to play The Last of Us all alone without him.
Here is an interview I've done with him: Is the future bright for blind gamers? With Brand Cole, an Accessibility Consultant.

"I hope someday I don't have a job, because that means every game is accessible to us." - Brandon Cole @superblindman. He's right. As long as we still have games that are not playable, we have a job to do.

When #WolverinePS5 is released, I will be playing in memory of fallen #Accessibility hero @superblindman . His work for #Blind and low vision players on #SpiderMan2PS5 has been kept fully intact and improved upon. I’ll slash some punks for you, brother Brandon. @insomniacgames

Happy birthday to @superblindman. You are missed immensely by the community every day. Thank you for everything that you did for blind accessibility in video games and all the lives you have impacted and changed because of your work.
Happy heavenly birthday, Brandon. There are no plans to have a gathering on Discord this year to celebrate him from @MistyRayburn and myself. However, we are celebrating with food, haha. Let us know what you get up to today 😀
Thanks for reading!

Doesn’t feel real that it’s been a year since you had to leave us @superblindman. Things definitely are not where we would like them to be, but we will never give up on the work that you started. Please keep looking after us!

I've had a few questions about if I'm going to do another get together on discord for the day @superblindman died. My answer is no, I'm not. I don't believe in making special a day a person dear to us left. If you want to personally, that's fine. I know a few people are.
