Your last chemo may feel like you beat cancer. It's not. You haven't thought about the next 5 or more years of blood tests, CT scans and more medical crap waiting for the true "You're cured" moment. Stay humble. Stay rational. There's still a long road ahead. #FuckCancer

Rejecting data centers built near you is a liberal virtue signal, but you must welcome the low income housing and homeless drug shelters going up on your block, because that’s what a good person does

Democrats ranted about “fascism” for two years because they were furious they hadn’t been able to incorporate it yet
A progressive group led by former Biden, Warren and Sanders aides has assembled a 182-page blueprint mapping out potential Democratic congressional investigations targeting President Trump's corporate allies and donors. The document, obtained and analyzed by Fox News Digital, names Tesla, Apple, Amazon, OpenAI, Meta, Google, Microsoft, Oracle and others as targets for potential hearings. It also names Palantir's Alex Karp and Coinbase's Brian Armstrong individually. The blueprint goes beyond corporate targets, urging scrutiny of Trump's personal finances, his tax arrangements, cryptocurrency businesses and alleged preferential treatment of corporate donors. A longtime Democratic Senate staffer familiar with the process says Democratic majorities on these committees already plan to exclusively focus on targeting allies and donors of the president, including those who donated to the new White House ballroom. The people calling for the wrong Alan Jones dying is peak horridness. It's okay to feel sad for someone's loss, but wishing for another person to die (no matter how bad a person they are) is pretty freaking bad.

The Learjet that crashed in Palm Beach County went from 35,000 feet to the ground in 76 seconds. Would the black box even survive this, seen the video of the non existent wreckage. You can hear the other pilot praying in the background about halfway through, they totally knew it was over. This aircraft has fewer than 10 seats so probably won’t have an FDR. It should have a CVR, this would be right at the mechanical limit for such a device, it is an extreme crash. Apparently most of it gets pulverized into tiny pieces and the denser stronger stuff likely buried itself under the ground. The plane was almost certainly damaged in the storm, or else the pilot would have recovered this. Something in the controls stopped working. Icing. Always a risk when flying into precipitation. They should have been high enough to prevent it (and that’s likely why they asked to go even higher) but it’s not a guarantee. Then they lost the horizontal stabilizer due to overspeed when the wings lost lift. Game over.

So it turns out that Ukraine's issues with Starlink were caused by Ukraine. Starlink terminals disconnected at speeds above 160 KPH, as determined by the Starlink terminals internal GPS. To get around this, Ukraine hacked the Starlink terminals to think they were stationary regardless of speed. SpaceX figured this out, and updated the system software to detect excessive speed by seeing how rapidly the terminal switched from on satellite to another. This broke Ukraine's hack, and Starlink would no longer work at high speeds. Ukraine was using Starlink in a way that violated the terms of service. Starlink figured it out and stopped it.

You are the laughing stock of the world. I don’t care where you come from or which community you serve. Get your finger off the f***ing trigger, unless you are about to shoot someone imminently. Page one. Line one. Lesson one.
Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley has responded to the unacceptable online abuse directed at a Met officer who received an award at yesterday's annual Police Federation Conference. PC Fiona Shaik Umar was recognised for the outstanding contribution she has made for women in policing.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The vast majority of criticism was not because she is Muslim, but because she was not following very basic gun safety rules. Her finger was on the trigger and she pointed the barrel of the gun at a fellow officer. gunsafetyrules.nra.org hunter-ed.com/muzzleloader/s… x.com/BasilTheGreat/… x.com/WilkieisBack66… x.com/LozzaFox/statu…

He used taxpayer funds in an attempt to ruin Helen Haines political career only a few weeks ago and on Monday night he called her ‘A beacon of light’ with ‘the highest integrity’. We all have been let down so badly. My god, no wonder Australia is tanking so hard.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has deflected questions about a reported ‘dirt sheet’ his office compiled on independent MP Helen Haines last month, instead praising her as a “good local member”. LATEST: bit.ly/4yCgTnz We launched a faster, redesigned app - with all new puzzles: bit.ly/3RceccM

"stabilize the vehicle in flight" It flies?
Replying to @Tesla
Beyond the limits of physics – Multi-mode fan & ground sealing system pulls air from beneath the vehicle, generating enough suction to hold it upside down while stationary – Powered fans & active wings maximize traction and cornering speeds in all conditions, achieving massive downforce at zero speed – Advanced cold-gas thrusters w/ all-electric actuators make micro adjustments within a fraction of a second to stabilize the vehicle in flight

Whatever you do next election, DO NOT VOTE GREENS. It won't achieve any change in the mess we have now. We're being taken for granted by our political class. ON are not the answer, Labor is not the answer, LNP is not the answer
