A8- The reality of PE is movement can cause injuries. I try to explain to a student that I’m ultimately trying to help them avoid getting hurt. Following directions, procedures, expectations is about safety. #iahperdchat

A6- Rather than use the terms effort and participation I simply say: “Try.” Elementary kiddos may be experiencing a skill for the 1st time. Learning takes time… trying naturally requires effort and participation …and also some patience. #iahperdchat
