I pulled out my Mickey Mouse Steamboat Willie, and Ford GT Hot Wheels collection and slotted it onto my modular display. The back plate support is proving to be quite versatile. Those cool diecast collections no longer need to be packed away.

The seamless rock pattern base plate for super cool Gundam.

From a 2D texture to a 3D surface. I designed this seamless rock pattern in Affinity, brought it to life in Blender, and hit print. Together with this Gundam model, it looks pretty epic. This base piece can also interconnect to a larger modular display.
I have spent a lot of time the last few days obsessing over measurements and testing different versions of support. I am looking at fractions of a millimeter to make sure the fit with this Pop Mart card is perfect. These tiny refinements are what make a display feel premium.
Testing out a card holder plate on my modular display. The card holder has a small slip and a backing board that can hold a card. You can also make your own background graphics to show off your Labubu or other blind box characters.

3D printed the black tiles to form a checked surface plate. Having these smaller tiles gives options to mix and match the colours to the character design theme.

A quick update, did a print test of the rails, basically this can be slotted into any of the side base plates. Unfortunately there are a few stringing areas, and I will have to go back into Blender to make more refinements.
