This year marks 7 years since I first saw Taylor in 2017, getting to relive those moments of pure joy and excitement was something I didn’t think could be recreated. Fast forward to 2024 and I got to experience it again, and so much more, forever grateful #LongLivetheErasTour 🫶
Nobody talks about how this album was the catalyst of nostalgia which allowed for The Eras Tour to just erupt
And when we’re discussing the best Taylor’s Versions to exist I better see her name at the top of your list

This is such a healthy coping mechanism and I think you can definitely see that throughout the Eras Tour when she reached such a magnitude of exposure she really learned how to protect what’s sacred, and I’m so glad about that
✍🏼| Taylor on the aspect of “fame”:
“Fame, that’s sort of a byproduct of my love for music. It’s kind of like songwriter plus Nashville equals fame. It’s why a lot of people know the words to my music, which is awesome. It’s also why there’s sort of like these daily random doses of chaos that just pop up in my life every once in a while, every couple of hours. That can be kind of weird, but I have tools in place in my mind that help me navigate that and get back to true north when life feels so bizarre. Those tools are my memories and the memories that I visit most frequently when I need to return back to some semblance of remembering what normalcy is and why I do this.”

The fact that she’s added two huge accolades to her songwriting acclaim this year speaks testament to the timelessness and relatability of her lyrics and that’s a powerful gift that few have
Taylor releasing one of her most critically acclaimed country songs in years which just so happens to be the soundtrack to one of the biggest movies this year and all of this coinciding with her being inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame?? The stars are aligning
This part of her speech is just so powerful especially when you think about the millions her songwriting has guided through their own formative years too
