Now that you are here... Did you know that Kenya Autism Management Bill 2025, by Karen Nyamu, was published in 26 Sept 2025, presented in Senate on 26 Nov 2025, had public participation from 2025 to 2026, and since 2nd Reading in May, hasn't got to 3rd Reading? #AutismAwareness

Who is the person that represents our collective aspirations as Kenyans? Find that person. Then vote for her/him.

โ€œHuman rights are not things that are put on the table for people to enjoy. These are things you fight for and then you protect.โ€ โ€” Wangari Maathai #FreeTwahaMwaipaya
I rushed to court this morning after my earlier engagement at Aga Khan University to attend to the pressing matter concerning Tanzanian activist Twaha Salim Mwaipaya. The danger with injustice is that, if we allow it to happen often enough, we begin to accept it as normal. We must never get so used to abductions that we stop asking questions. Today it is Twaha; tomorrow, it could be any one of us. No one is safe when the rule of law is treated as optional.

I downloaded MS Word on my phone today so I can read docs sent via WhatsApp. I opened Word and I was asked to sign in or sign up (for free). I uninstalled the app.

Time traveler. Who was this guy? How did he know everything. We lost a great thinker. One so rare you only see them once in a lifetime.
I hate cheap men. Cheap men normally have no stand, no loyalty or even respect for themselves. Kalonzo is an embarrassment to the opposition

This was the worst moment in our history. These two conned us big time. And the blue tie conned us again in 2022. Kenyans were so gullible.
The moment this country engaged its reverse gear...

We are our own enemies. We don't need to look behind us or this side or that side. The enemy is right there staring at us in the mirror.
Kwame Nkrumah never found out who really took his country from him. On February 24, 1966, he was in Hanoi and Beijing, trying to mediate an end to the Vietnam War. While he was away, a small group of army officers seized power in Accra. It took them hours. He was in exile for six years. He died in a hospital in Bucharest in 1972, far from Ghana, still believing his own people had turned against him. The truth was worse. In 2025, Ghana's President John Mahama stood before the nation and said it plainly. Declassified documents from the United States archives show the 1966 coup was "inspired and engineered by the CIA." The files are brutal. In a 1964 briefing to President Lyndon Johnson(Democrat), a US national security adviser described Nkrumah as having been "less of a monkey lately." That was the tone. That was the respect. A former CIA officer, John Stockwell, later admitted that the agency's station in Accra "maintained intimate contact with the plotters as a coup was hatched." It had a generous budget. It was so close to the operation that it helped recover Soviet military equipment as the coup unfolded. One detail makes it worse. A high-level committee in Washington had specifically rejected a CIA request to move against Nkrumah. The station went ahead anyway. When the coup succeeded, it was given "full, if unofficial credit" inside the agency. Nobody was punished. The rogue operation was rewarded. Nkrumah had built the Akosombo Dam to power Ghana's factories. He told Africa that political independence without economic independence was a slogan. He wanted a continent that did not have to beg. At his funeral in Conakry, Amรญlcar Cabral said: "Nobody can tell us that Nkrumah died of a cancer of the throat. Nkrumah was killed by the cancer of betrayal, which we must uproot from Africa." Cabral was assassinated less than a year later. The dam still stands. The dream was buried with him.

I was a magazine editor back in the day. I was also a correspondent for The Star, Daily Nation and The East African. During that time, I observed that in the journalism world there are two unforgivable sins: 1. Quarks 2. Brown envelope journalism Obina is both.
If I were Obinna, I'd abstain from responding to Allan Namu in any way. But we know he does not possess such wisdom. He'll come swinging in the dumbest manner!

This is clearly misinformation, seemingly intended to generate clicks and online engagement. However, I prefer to engage on issues with facts, reason and mutual respect. I do not trade in insults or descend into unnecessary exchanges. That is simply not my style.

These girls are fire! I had no idea that these were the ones Kalonzo called "single mothers". They can be whatever they want to be. I don't care. They hot too!

Okay, the point is, I don't like Karen Nyamu being the one driving this bill. Can we have someone else?

Guys, for those who want to be heard by FC Bayern fanbase, rejecting the Bayern vs Ajax at Talanta Stadium, do not ignore @iMiaSanMia (biggest fan account with 497.4K followers). Also tag @BayernForumCom and @BayernView in addition, of course, to @FCBayern and @FCBayernEN

There's one thing I keep saying. Ignore Facebook at your own peril. The other side understands the numbers and that's why their bots are dominating FB. You don't need separate content for Meta platforms, just crosspost your X takes over there. Someone will share it on WhatsApp.
They are Tweeting nonsense so that you can engage them. Ignore them. Parasites wither & die when they become unattached to the host. Anyway brother @AndreJanonesMG already gave us the cheat sheet.

It has started. I wondered how crazy it would be if Kemi became UK Prime Minister. Now some British people are "considering" that as a thing. She's pro-deportation, so Africans in UK shouldn't think of her as "our man". If you are there illegally, she'll deport you.
Best political event of the week. We need Kemi Badenoch as prime minister.

Instead of addressing his unconditional cabinet. In addition to announcing the football game, he could have added a footnote lying to us that he's planning to reshuffle the cabinet.

Human rights activists and citizens in Kenya have launched a campaign, urging FC Bayern and Ajax to boycott the scheduled friendly between the two teams in Nairobi on January 5th. Critics argue that public funds and millions are being misallocated toward an expensive international exhibition match amid domestic economic pressures, the rising cost of living, healthcare challenges and human rights issues. They also claim that this match serves as a political leverage and campaign tool ahead of upcoming elections amid ongoing public discontent over governance, taxation, and human rights in the country ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ช

But let's be honest. Hao backbenchers walikuwa kwa launch were unruly. Caroli is speaking, noise. Sifuna, noise. Kalonzo, heckling. Riggy G had to use his political science degree to manage them. Kalonzo made a mistake, but wekeni decorum majamaa. Linda Mwananchi | Linda Kenya
