In 1995 the Sega Saturn launched in the West with a port of its arcade smash hit Virtua Fighter.
However, shortly after Namco brought their own arcade 3D fighter to PlayStation.
Which was better? Join us for the break down.

The Samsung Saturn was the last game console released by Samsung Electronics. At the time, the Sega Saturn was incredibly popular in the 32-bit gaming market, largely thanks to Virtua Fighter, so I thought the Samsung Saturn had a good chance of succeeding in Korea, too.
But for some reason, Samsung chose to use the North American region code, meaning it couldn't play Japanese games. As a result, many people were reluctant to buy it. By the time the Samsung Saturn was released, a large number of Japanese Saturn games had already made their way into Korea through unofficial imports. If Samsung had simply followed the Japanese region code, just as it did with the Mega Drive, things might have turned out much better. I always found that decision really puzzling.
Still, one of the best things about the Saturn was being able to enjoy Sega's popular 3D arcade games at home. Virtua Fighter 1 and 2, Daytona USA, Sega Rally, Virtua Cop 1 and 2, Virtual On โ there were so many great games to play!

pretty sure the picture attached is broken or something, it has been for like a month
(atleast, in my view).. so I'm reposting because I'm still proud of it, if that's ok
(really just so you can still see it. i have no idea why it's bugged on my end)
Happy birthday, Sonic
I didn't have anything drawn specifically for this, but I did redraw a bunch of official sprites. hopefully these dont look like shit nitter.cf/Mugzerz_/status/206948โฆ

301. Resident Evil 2
Capcoms survival horror sequel is a classic in every sense, and the Dreamcast port is one of the best ways to play it. Two characters, four scenarios and scares galore.
Its still incredible.

F-Zero GX: to be this good took AGES.
To be this good tookโฆ SEGA.
Thereโs no doubt for me that GX is the peak of the series. Faster, bigger, bolderโฆ and HARDER!
But UTTERLY brilliant! Found out how SEGA did it in our new vid!
