🚀 Big week for my startup Rebecker Specialties as we launched our @MetaQuestVR digital twin insights app called Factotum into early access!
🍕 Early Access Launch: We're shipped the Meta Horizon store! If you're a Technical Program Manager, Project Portfolio Manager, @ScaledAgile / #VSM / #SPACE practitioner with a Meta Quest 2 or 3 headset (@PICOXR coming soon) we’d love to hear your feedback -- reply or DM! meta.com/experiences/factotu…
📃 Due Diligence Ready: Data Room professionally reviewed and published—comprehensive documentation locked and loaded! We’re particularly proud that all our @NSF documentation rigor got new life as a very detailed platform and product technology roadmap.
🌐 Ecosystem Impact: We've been collaborating with engineers from @Office , @callstackio ,
@MongoDB , and @openjsf to bring Node API standards to more application frameworks. This allows us to deploy our @babylonjs #WebXR application wherever customers need it most, multiplying reach with minimal effort.
🫡 Huge thanks to Meta's Web Platform team—@00davehill00 , @felix_trz , and Jianmin Zheng —for helping unblock our 1.0 release. Most discussions happened in the public @webxracademy Discord so others can learn from our journey.

Our first hard drive was a 40MB Seagate whose trick was that it used the same connector as the second floppy drive in our Amstrad 8086. It came with a printout of bad sectors that we had to hand-type into the controller BIOS. In ~1991, we started shopping for a new PC and went to a Radio Shack. The salesperson said “how big hard drive are you looking for?” And my mom says “well, probably at least 80MB since we filled 40MB pretty fast”. The salesperson literally did a spit take “Jesus Christ, what the hell would you need 80MB for??” we took our business elsewhere XD

Surface Duo vs. iPhone Duo vs. Cadbury Duo. Gotta love Reddit 😅 reddit.com/r/surfaceduo/s/Og…
Seems like there’s a new method to take over someone’s PlayStation account. Passkeys, 2FA, strong unique password, unique email address alias… none of this protects you from this attack.
I just woke up and I had my email to my psn account change from this stupid child family management exploit where unauthorized accounts are added to your family management where they can see your account information
FUCKING FIX IT

I have finally found the most beautiful computer. New old stock from 1980. Never been turned on.
have been a Game Pass subscriber since the beginning (when I was still a PlayStation employee), and subscribed to Ultimate and used it to play @DoubleFine Keeper on my UltraUltraWide monitor. Now I’m being force-fed ads IN THE MIDDLE OF WATCHING A FUCKING 4K DISC for a games series I HAVE NEVER PLAYED. canceled, goodbye @XBOX after 24 years I’d rather run a Linux machine that won’t assault my eyeballs with random nonsense I didn’t ask for.

“Let’s make a cool bundle for Roadies who wanna support Tour Bus Drivers,” we thought
“Extremely wholesome,” we said
“What’s old timey slang for a bus driver,” we asked
“oh no but also Eddie would love this LET’S DO IT,” we laughed

Overall it would have to be Babylon 5 for the sheer amount of time and effort and getting the results pretty close to what I envisioned. After that would be Changeling, for the same reason, then Midnight Nation. It's hard because they're different forms for different media.
Replying to @straczynski
So as a casual fan who hasn’t dug deep enough I’m sure you’ve answered this question but I might as well ask here. What piece of your work are you most proud of, or would suggest to someone wanting to get a feel for your personal sense of identity? Hope you have a lovely day.

Art has layers like programming. Not doing the lowest layer manually doesn't mean it's not art. You don't have to hand paint every letter to be a designer. You don't need to hand write ASM to be a programmer (a compiler or Codex can do that for you).

Travis Knight says that ‘WILDWOOD’ had to be PG-13 due to the tragic acts of violence seen in the film.
“Modern cinema generally tends to talk down to young audiences. But young people experience loss. They know what it’s like to feel afraid.”

I've been thinking about, and running experiments at scale, of how to improve flow in product development for almost 30 years. It's such a deep, nuanced topic that it's hard to summarize even when not discussing how agents change everything. This isn't just gazing into the past, but trying to grapple with how (and if) we take these values into the future. Thanks to @lukasz_app for the great chat!
AI makes it tempting to add every feature in sight.
Can the product handle 1,000 users an hour? What will 10,000 cost? @syke explains why scale and quality need to be part of the agent workflow.
