in jp they costed 3k gems. PER epilogue. and i gotta say.. it really didn't feel much different or mind blowing relative to the 300 gem ones. the price hike was not worth it js for the story in my humble opinion

Also if I remember correctly, the epilogues costs around 1,300 diamonds each bc it is included as a part of the set, and u will not be able to buy them once the event has ended 🫠

im for supporting what i can but it would be hard to believe charging what would be equivalent of ~$20 for a story thats ~3 pages of a full length novel would be sustainable in the long run. but well, thats just me 🤷🏻‍♀️

villains can be problematic, but not every vil is or has to be. imo a vil doesnt always = "problematic" unless conflated w/ purity culture: u get to a pt where flaws make ones identity as such, when that isnt true. cases in pt: •zuko •gilbert redford •loulan •seiji matoba

obv these villains/antags oppose the mc in some way. but they also hv their own motives and were acting to achieve goals of their own using wtv cards they were dealt. if the story was told from their pov, u would view the "mc" as the villain/antag of that narrative

i did like darius' story overall, but i do think the way they portrayed or described what was essentially smth heinous that did happen irl, even thru one-off sorta lines, was a rather tasteless writing choice imo sliiight ikevil spoilers +tw in image

HELP i was mainly referring to like a few one-off sorta lines somewhat early on in darius' main story. they throw them out there and never really explain further so they're not super relevant but can definitely be a bit "oh.. /neg" for readers

i won't claim ikevil has a squeaky clean record when it comes to the treatment of women (and, in my opinion, some lines may come off as a bit "tasteless"). but we shouldn't be using roger for this, like cmon guys we can do better

I just saw someone say that Roger is misogynistic... So is it a trend to just completely misinterpret a character and say whatever the hell you want about them? I mean, if anything, it just shows how low your reading comprehension skills are to say something so wrong so boldly.

i wanna add that if i WERE to include sequels as a metric, will & liam's rating would be 7/10 at a minimum. imo they were a solid start and addressed pts that i felt were otherwise lacking in their main stories. but i didn't want to incl it here since not all of em r out yet
