Always been interesting how the online gaming world has adopted @nats_io for player connectivity as well as game server telemetry, health and command and control.
16K gamers battling in real time? That's the sort of low-latency communication only possible with @NATS_io🚀 See how Massdrift builds w/ NATS as they look to set the Guinness World Record for most concurrent users in a multiplayer video game PvP battle youtu.be/FQTWNjfk6Ps?si=VSHu…

Released trogonstack/next-nats Keep using the @vercel Redis, KV, Blob, Queues, Edge Config, Data Cache and Cron APIs your @nextjs app already calls, backed by a @nats_io server you run. Change the imports, not your code. Thanks to @synadia for NATS! github.com/TrogonStack/next-…

🎉 Happy 16th Birthday to @nats_io! It has been an amazing journey and we are just getting started as the central nervous system for cloud to edge systems and agentic AI as it moves closer to the physical world. We are also open for voting to graduate from the @CloudNativeFdn - Only the TOC's votes are official but a 👍 is always welcome - github.com/cncf/toc/issues/2… And if you find the technology valuable please consider giving us a star! github.com/nats-io/nats-serv…

New Post Alert 🚨 Our newest blog post is from Yaron Torgeman at Cordum.io. "...NATS in Cordum to carry agent jobs from an API gateway to a scheduler and workers, then carry results back. Policy checks happen in the control plane. NATS supplies the messaging layer. Keeping those responsibilities separate makes the execution path easier to inspect...." nats.io/blog/cordum-cap-agen…

hey @tobi any interest on continue improving walgit? I took few PRs made to your version into my fork, moving into adding direct integration with @nats_io so I can do all the event processing from it. Thinking on adding a CI to see how the whole thing could work for Agents, after that I want to move to treat GitHub as a fallback cache.

If you are looking to modernize your messaging stack, this is a great first step.
Solace → NATS maps more cleanly than most teams expect. The trick is knowing where it isn’t 1:1. Bruno Baloi walks the full concept map in under 3 min: subjects, accounts, JWTs, JetStream, leaf nodes, superclusters. youtube.com/watch?v=OoUsZhaw…

We are seeing a bunch of innovative companies settle on this pattern.
MQTT was built to get data off a device over a thin, unreliable link. It does that well, and Ignition already speaks it. Carrying forty sites, two regions and every application in the company is a different job. Keep MQTT at the edge and add a @nats_io backbone behind it.

Excited to attend this one in person. Some good conversations on @nats_io as the central nervous system with MQTT and other OT protocols as the last mile connectivity. Also be fun to chat a bit about SynapseMQ.
Replace your MQTT broker! 𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 replacing MQTT devices at the edge. That's what we'll be talking about next week at ICC - @InductiveAuto's annual user conference! If you'll be in Sacramento, stop by to learn how you can replicate what @Verrus and Christopher Coco have built by integrating @NATS_io with Inductive Automation's Ignition SCADA platform - instead of relying on MQTT as their bridge from edge site to cloud

Feels a bit strange replacing products I designed in the 90s with @nats_io, but we have learned so much and networks and intelligent connections to its have changed as well. Looking to modernize your system, I’d like to hear from you. DMs open.

Having AI understand a system deeply and have the data to drive insights and conclusions is the future of all software systems.
Is @nats_io in your critical path? Will your on-call eng recall the nuances of NATS during an incident? With Insights, you don't have to find out!

As more intelligence moves to the edge more folks discover what is missing. @synadia specializes in bringing a consistent infrastructure and security stance for connectivity, micro-services, streams and KV stores between cloud and edge. Even more important as Agentic AI starts migrating to the edge.
The next competitive advantage isn’t putting AI at the edge. It’s operating it without humans constantly stepping in.

We are seeing our most innovative customers use the last mile transport that exists, like here MQTT, but use @nats_io as the distributed backplane, e.g. the nervous system.
You can replace your MQTT broker without replacing MQTT. MQTT is an OT standard. Your devices all speak it, and that doesn't need to change. Because @nats_io speaks MQTT natively.
