How the hell does one devops engineer’s laptop have that much power? Like, yeah I have code on my machines that can be considered confidential, but there’s absolutely no way to blow through my environment without my Yubikey or hacking a Rocky Linux jump box and setting off a million alarms. Jesus, man!
Rest in peace. Thank you for the entertainment over the years.

This is honestly pretty sweet. This update is going to be awesome!
pfSense is turning 20, and Netgate just dropped a big update: CE and Plus are officially reuniting into ONE pfSense starting with version 26.10.
The full feature set, new GUI, built-in API, and free security updates are now free for everyone on amd64 hardware.

Engineer: Let’s jump through all these hoops and lock the user out from making these sequential actions to avoid this crash.
Me: …or hear me out: we can just fix the bug that causes this.
Claude: 50 lines of code changed. Two infinite loops.
Engineer:
What a great way to end an amazing day with @mandolinsara.

The rumors of Hackintosh’s demise have been greatly exaggerated. github.com/Acelogic/Snapinto…
Spent the last three days rewriting an internal app. Updated libraries, fixed and added features, removed some jank, this damn app even has dark mode now. Showed it to a bunch of people that would never talk to each other and all of them said the same thing: they liked the icon.
chat. chat... its not funny anymore

The original post has since been edited to specify that this was about an unrelated vulnerability that the user had discovered, not the recently patched vulnerability.

Uh, yeah I’ve seen enough. I’ve been meaning to migrate to flat-file static pages so I guess that just got moved up the priority list.
My servers are ready. 🔥
🚨 BREAKING: PHP is warning admins to prepare for emergency security updates tomorrow to fix two critical vulnerabilities rated CVSS 9.2.
However, security researchers at @watchtowrcyber rate the flaws CVSS 10.0 and say they are RCE vulnerabilities affecting PHP 5 through 8.
Information about the vulnerabilities has reportedly leaked ahead of disclosure.
No known exploitation in the wild.

Coworker was bitching about his furnace breaking down and I said “Don’t use a Lennox furnace, use a FreeBSD furnace”, which was met with a blank stare.
I’m done and I want to go home.
I absolutely hate when apps ask me if I enjoy using them and beg for a review. No Duo, I don’t enjoy using your app because I’m not at home with my cat, I’m at work…using your shitty auth.
Hey reverse engineers, definitely under no circumstances reverse engineer Atlassian products. It would be absolutely terrible if you provided a free, open source alternative to their tooling.
