Sam Mendez (‘24, NY) didn’t even allow a ball in play as the 5’9” RHP punched out all six batters he faced during his two-inning stint. Dodged several barrels w/ the heavy FB (sat 82-84). Landed a tight wipeout SL w/ some late vertical tilt. Repeatable wiry movements down the slope. Releases from a powerful low-3/4 slot. #NESelect @PG_Scouting

The Hofstra commit and No. 3 ranked SS in NY blasts a fastball deep into the LCF gap and shows of his speed digging it into a triple 💣. Tyler’s 5 tool ability ⚙️ will translate very well at the next level. @PBRNewYork

Close game with @GaelsBaseball
up 2-1 over Cardinal Spellman in the 5th. @_dylandrazka makes a run saving play with a perfect throw from centerfield to get the runner trying to score on the hit. Gaels would go on to win 3-1. @BUncommitted @PBR_NY_Scouts @ChrisDryllPBR

2024 SS Tyler Castrataro (Mahopac). The @HofstraBaseball commit absolutely scorches this ball to dead central for a ground rule 2B. Stays through the legs to create a tremendous amount of pop for a 5-10 165lb make up.
