BREAKING: Blue Energy plans to build the world’s first gas-to-nuclear power plant at a massive Texas inland port with direct access to the Gulf and the nation’s inland waterway network.
Blue Energy has submitted the first part of its NRC construction permit application for the project, which would pair GE Vernova gas turbines with GE Vernova Hitachi BWRX-300 small modular reactors.
The large power-generation campus will start with natural-gas generation, followed by the buildout of SMRs.

Thank you to our customers and investors for supporting us, and all our Impulse employees for building an awesome company!
We've raised an additional $308M to continue expanding our team, products, and facilities as we accelerate humanity's future beyond Earth. This raise brings our combined Series D round to $808M, continuing a period of significant growth for our company.
We're scaling because our customers need more than just access to space, they need to be able to move dynamically once they're there. That's why we're building vehicles that can maneuver precisely, respond quickly, reach new destinations, and adapt on orbit.
We're excited to continue building a full spectrum of in-space mobility capabilities for the space industry.

"Tom Mueller is driving his candy green Porsche Taycan Turbo S the way he builds rocket engines: with a terrifying amount of instantaneous thrust..."
Before titles like "the godfather of rocketry" were tossed in Tom's (@lrocket) direction, there was an engineer with a penchant for the impossible.
@elonmusk came asking, "Can you build something bigger?"
Tom spent the next two decades answering it, redefining what was considered possible, and helping lay the foundation for a generation of spaceflight that the world is still catching up to.
It's impossible to tell the story of modern spaceflight without Tom's story. And it's impossible to tell the story of its future without Impulse.

Tom Mueller was SpaceX’s first employee and built the rocket engines that helped make Elon Musk’s space empire possible.
Now, the billionaire engineer has a new bet: Impulse Space, a startup racing to build the fast lane for satellites, cargo and eventually people after launch.

"As launch costs fall and satellite deployments accelerate, demand is rising for vehicles that can reposition spacecraft between orbits, deliver payloads deeper into space and service satellites already in orbit."

Another big milestone for Impulse Space. It's wild that they've raised over 1B, backlog is a pig pile, products are improving at an accelerating rate.... yet, and I think this will only reveal itself in time, we will look back at this moment in history and view it as small ball for them. Its a privilege to back this company and team.

When I use these AI models today, they feel basic. They should be able to listen and talk naturally, understand vision, retain persistent memory, and become deeply personalized over time. They should be able to see the world, interact with it, and take action
To build that future, the capital we raised today will be used to:
→ scale our GPU infrastructure
→ accelerate future AI model development
→ grow the Hark team from ~70 to 200 engineers
→ design and build the next generation of AI hardware
The Series A round was led by Parkway Venture Capital with participation from NVIDIA, Align Ventures, AMD Ventures, ARK Invest, Brookfield, Greycroft, Intel Capital, Prime Movers Lab, Qualcomm Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, and Tamarack Global
At Hark, we are building the most advanced personal intelligence in the world. Intelligence that begins to think like you and sometimes, ahead of you to offload your mental workload

I got to cut the ribbon for Earth AI's lab back in March for being its champion on the board. When queues got longer at the 3rd party lab last year I asked a simple question...
"Is there any reason we can't do it ourselves?"
Our bias for vertical integration comes from the need for speed.
It's why we built our own analytics lab at @earthaiexplore. We'll now test _months_ faster than the rest of the industry.
