Hi everyone! 👋
I'm Jae Tanaka, Spanish artist with over 25 years in animation, TV & commercials — from storyboard to character design and full pipelines.
These last years I've been diving deep into comics and illustration, mostly weird fantasy for TTRPGs (OSR modules, zines, characters, covers... you name it!).
If you're looking for a reliable pro with a zany style — old-school grit mixed with modern animation energy — I'm your guy! 💀✨

GM friends!!
I'll be on a travel next week, so I'll update (even) less! :)
I'll post some pictures of the places I visit, maybe.
No matter how many times I watch Rocky. This ending puts me in the verge of tears always.
One of the best movies ever!
GM, friends!
Have a great Sunday, love your people and enjoy life as hard as you can!
Slowly but steady!
My The Tomb of Cegeah project keeps going!
I have 11 finished strips. I still don't know how to make it public (maybe weekly through Patreon...), but I want to have at least 15 before releasing it.
In the meantime, here you have a sketch of the party!

Here is some old shit!
Around 2009-2010 I started to draw a comic about roller derby, but with powers. Each girl has an "action feature": one hardened her skin the faster she rolls, other had multilocation, other could grow tentacles on her head... Idiotic, but fun! There was also an evil japanese corporation that designed an roller derby ninja robot... The Earth was challenged by Hell to a Roller Derby Kumite, and the focus of the story was, obviously, the matches, in a very Dragon Ball way: there was allways a stronger enemy, and the Earth Team should grow their power to beat them. As I said, idiotic, but fun!
The main character was of course a short chubby girl, (like always in my comics... 😅) named Rox whose grandma died years ago in the last Roller Derby Kumite, saving Humanity.
Idiotic. But fun.
Old piece for Tales from the Smoking Wyrm.
I miss drawing on paper, but my eyesight was better 5 years ago... 😭
I had to do it.
As a die hard Potterhead, I think that Malfoid works way better than Malfoy in the saga. The redemption arch is way stronger if she is a girl in love with Harry. And making her his couple is better than the actual "OK, I'll marry my bro's sister just because why not..."
J.K, make Malfoid canon!
