Codex: $200/month and takes 8 minutes to say hello.
I asked Claude Code to make a music video about my first Codex experience.

My dear front-end developers (and anyone who’s interested in the future of interfaces):
I have crawled through depths of hell to bring you, for the foreseeable years, one of the more important foundational pieces of UI engineering (if not in implementation then certainly at least in concept):
Fast, accurate and comprehensive userland text measurement algorithm in pure TypeScript, usable for laying out entire web pages without CSS, bypassing DOM measurements and reflow

What a week! 🤩
For the past few days, our team has gathered in person for our annual UneeQ Summit in Auckland NZ, including an incredible night at our company awards (more on this soon!) 👀 💜
The week then culminated in being named finalists not once but TWICE for the NZ Hi-Tech Awards — New Zealand's most prestigious celebration of tech. 🚀
Thank you to all involved, including our amazing team and fellow finalists 👏

So this #JavaScript weirdness totally works in ES2018 (and in Chrome), however it breaks if you try to do it in TypeScript and compile to ES5. :)
You can even do: `for (let {} in obj)` Weird stuff. (again, don't do it in TS targeting ES5, tho)
BNZ Business putting their "mad security skills" on show. Either my password was too long, or non-alphanumeric characters are not allowed. Possibly both. How embarrassing.
Holy crap Christchurch City library is amaaaazing. So amazing. Wow. Families hanging out. Events happening. Helpful staff. I'm in love.
What's your fav Slack bot for managing PRs? Currently ours posts separately for PR created, PR merged. Also doesn't format the posts very nicely. Are there any bots that can update a PR slack message state to "merged" rather than just posting again? #lazyweb
Anyone know if the @angular team has written about their branching, release and versioning strategy anywhere? Thinking of doing something similar but would help to read about their choices first. Or another team doing similar with a JS project. Long-lived release branches etc.
Anyone happen to have an Epson TM-T88 V or IV thermal printer lying around they'd be willing to lend to me or else sell to me? Or a similar thermal printer?
Thank you so much to everyone who has left flowers and messages of love at mosques around the country. MIL just sent pics from our local mosque. Your messages are being read, they are being shared, and they are deeply appreciated. Thank you ♥️

All I was able to do today was mourn out loud. I’m still in shock. I’m grasping for words. Here’s what I have to say
