Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test. 48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video. It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).

Most AI can tell you it's happy for you. Griffin shows it, in its voice, its face and its gestures, all at once. Rudy just got promoted, and you don't need the sound on to know how Griffin feels about it.

Because it’s the first model that can be mistaken for a real person, Griffin requires safety considerations before it can be released publicly. The full research preview covers how it works, how we tested it and the safety measures that have to come first: tavus.io/griffin

Mid-story, Mars holds up a peacock, and Griffin seamlessly writes it into the plot. It sees while it speaks, so what it sees can change what it's saying. Show it something and it's part of the conversation.

Ari solves a Rubik's cube while Griffin coaches him from what it sees in his hands, and when he goes quiet to think, it waits. Its perception is always on, so it acts without being asked. Note: this actually blew our minds seeing happen live.

The results are in yet again for conversational video quality 🔥
People preferred Tavus's visual quality over LemonSlice, HeyGen and Anam in blind studies. Tavus won 85.1% of the time against LemonSlice, 75.0% against HeyGen and 60.8% against Anam. That's the face alone. A live PAL also knows when to speak, reads the room and remembers you.

We're proud to support Elevare, who built an AI care companion for new moms that stays with them from pregnancy through their baby's first year. They partner with Tavus because real human connection happens face to face, and a new mom deserves that at any hour.

Apple’s Knowledge Navigator concept from 1987 is still the best example of what a perfect assistant would look like. You'd use it everyday for the most mundane things and for the most complex things. My issue with Muse and Instinct is i’m not constantly booking flights or making reservations (thought they're great at that). I struggle to figure out what to use it for daily even though I want to. And I can’t use them for the small things, like playing Spotify or sending a message, at least without additional friction. Without those daily interactions, I forget they exist and don't really build trust with it. On the other hand, Siri has that part figured out. It’s always there, on my device, with access to my messages and activity.. but I don’t trust it with anything complicated, and it essentially has no personality that I can connect with. The perfect assistant needs all of these things. Which means the perfect assistant HAS to be an OS level feature. It has to be immediately accessible, have access to all my apps already, AND be able to do more complex tasks. It has to be part of my daily life, earn my trust, and build a relationship with me. Apple has the best chance here given they have all the context and are the only ones with cross-device surfaces (macOS, iOS), but they have to get their shit..

Gave GPT a face and feelings, called it "AGI Mode," then told it Anthropic's models were better. Probs not surviving the singularity... so what should I ask next? This is @OpenAIDevs GPT-Live-1 voice + @tavus Phoenix-4.5.

Most AI forgets you when the conversation ends. Ours doesn't. Tavus PALs hit 93.4% on LongMemEval, the AI memory benchmark. That matches the best memory providers, and ours runs in real time. We published all 500 answers so you can check our work. tavus.io/blog/memories
PALs now remember the people they talk to. Introducing Memories: memory built around the relationship between a PAL and each person it knows. The art of a good conversation is everything you don't have to say twice and every conversation should build on the last.

Time is the one thing we can't render. So we're giving you twice as much of it. Sign up for Tavus or upgrade your plan by the end of September to get 2× the minutes to build with. maker.tavus.io
