Taylor Brown's most recent novel, "Rednecks," is his fourth book nominated for the Southern Book Prize. savannahnow.com/story/entert…
Checked my mail yesterday and what did I find but this piece from my friend Ryan Garczynski showing my evening writing spot at @StarlandYard — my “clean, well-lighted place” as I think of it.
I took these two photos just a few mins apart — he nailed it! ♥️
REDNECKS is a finalist for the Southern Book Prize! This is my 4th novel to be an SBA finalist and I’d be so grateful for your vote — let’s bring it home! Ballot link: southernbookprize.com

So much fun celebrating EVIL IN ME (@TorNightfire) w/ our bud @GeraldBrom last night! Y’all pick up a copy of the novel and the 4-song EP from my partner AJ Grey’s band The Maxines (as “The Night Mares” from the book) that goes w/ the novel! bromart.com
Y’all this is too cool! Today’s pubday for EVIL IN ME (@TorNightfire) by my bud @GeraldBrom. Not only is it an amazing novel, but the book’s music has been brought to life by my partner AJ Grey and her all-female band The Maxines, acting as The Night Mares from the novel!
In ‘09 my story “Rider” won the Montana Prize in Fiction judged by the great Joy Williams. Recently someone reminded me of the commentary she asked to be published w/ it.
This was 5 years before my first book, a collection that opens with “Rider.”
Continue the writer must 👊
Wish I had a link, but “Rider” was only ever published in print but it’s the first story in my collection In the Season of Blood & Gold from @press53: press53.com/short-fiction/in…
Oh, and I’m just realizing the full story is available in the free sample from you-know-who: amazon.com/Season-Blood-Gold…

So much fun launching my friend @theandrewkclark 's debut novel from @CowboyJamboree , WHERE DARK THINGS GROW, into the world tonight.
This little guy fell down our chimney and really wanted AJ to be his mama! He kept climbing up her leg and arm. Unfortunately we have three big dogs that wanted to make him a tasty meal. In the end he went up the tree in the front yard — hopefully he reunites with his mama!
