You know you’d rather be running when you start wearing marathon shirts to work. On the plus side, you’re already dressed to pound out some miles once your shift is over.

Been experimenting w/ microwave mug cakes since walking off w/ leftover bananas at the @seattlemarathon Summer 5K/10K. Added a couple heaping spoonfuls of PB to this one.

Happy to be wrapping up this heatwave. Closest I got to running this weekend was volunteering in 100 degrees at a trail race aid station. Tomorrow is mine.

Cheers to another year ‘round the Sun. It was a nice quiet day full of rest & race prep. Only two sleeps until @cascadecrest100. Never stop chasing those rainbows.
My neighbors & I are in the market for new padlocks. Discovered that somebody went all Salvador Dali on our storage lockers. Mine’s the purple. I like how it depicts the artist’s fluidity of ambition & lack of provision. In other news, I get to use my cordless reciprocating saw.
The boys & I have an understanding that on days traditionally decked out in fireworks, mama stays home to help reassure them that the world isn’t ending. We’ve become big fans of these tranquil little holidays full of naps & white noise.

When your vest has seen enough muddy races that it earns a bath. I had to change the water out 3 times because...wow.

Getting ready to start the Evergreen Half with @SnohomishRunnin! Hard to turn down a downhill #halfmarathon.

Pfizer #5! That brings the tally to 3 primary shots for COVID-19 (1 extra for being #immunocompromised), & now 2 boosters. Go go science.

Jazzed to join this year’s Squirrel's Nut Butter Adventure Team! Switching to @squirrelsnutbut was a game changer for me, & they even have #vegan options! I put it all over my feet, under bra straps, & anywhere else that might see friction during a run. This stuff is incredible.
Stoked to be returning for another year on the RADrabbit team! Being a part of this amazing group of runners & dreamers has given me an instant connection to other rabbit athletes at sooooo many races over the past year. I love having more people to root for.
And @runinrabbit makes the softest, most comfortable running clothes. I can't say enough good things.

Back for my 4th year as an Ambassador for the Amica Insurance @SeattleMarathon! I'm all registered & ready to go! 2022 will be my 5th consecutive year. Wouldn't miss it.

I’m always entertained when posting the occasional photos of my #cats causes me to lose followers. #dogpeople
Love what you do. Happy belated #globalrunningday (or night). Got my run in late last night and then found much zzz’s.
