Why is anyone scheduling this at a neutral court?
Michigan basketball went big and scheduled its Dec. 5 matchup against Louisville at Little Caesars Arena, home of the Detroit Pistons (rather than the usual Crisler Center)

Trunk or Treats are fun. They shouldn’t replace Trick or Treating, but there’s no reason kids can’t do both.
They sold out the gameday experience for TV. They won’t even tell you the time of the game until a few days out now. How are folks supposed to plan for that? Getting babysitters for “TBA” is extraordinarily difficult.
Wish colleges would get back to putting the opposing bands on or near the field. So much cooler than dumping them up top.
Not really that complicated. You have two main issues:
1. Backloaded schedule.
2. Watered down product due to Big Noon nonsense.
ESECPN works hard to make their night games an “event” worth watching. The Big Ten wastes its best environments on noon games. It’s idiotic.
The Big Ten is winning National Championships and making more TV money than the SEC. But there is a growing problem...
The widening gap in TV ratings and the quality of the TV product itself, compared to the SEC, has many hitting the panic button.

We’re like a month removed from the “it’s unfair the SEC has to play the SEC!” narrative. Now, the games are such a joke teams have to do drills between snaps. Impressive transition.

Walked into Michigan Stadium yesterday and it was almost empty of ads. No sponsors on the board or press box. No titles, no retired numbers, no Hall of Famers. Just “Michigan Stadium” and the Block M on the canopies. OU’s Jordan logo on our sideline canopy was more branding than they had. Wild for a 100k stadium.
