We were disciplined with a belt by dad, and a wooden spoon by mom. We were told to do something and expected to get it done without whining or excuses. Feelings were unimportant and to expected to suck it up. We were told to get a job at 15 and we've been working ever since. We were told not to be dependent on anything, and least of all government. It was explained anything given to someone else was already taken from somebody. We were latch key kids at 10 years old and we were expected to fend for ourselves. The last great generation. Gen X is the best.

He's big and fast but he's not necessarily a natural receiver. Catching passes is not his second nature. He should be able to high point any pass and snatch it out of the sky like Calvin Johnson or Randy Moss. Instead he seems to have a case of alligator arms all too often.

That doesn't mean Americans aren't feeling real affordability pressure. They ARE.
But during Biden's term, I REMEMBER the media making it feel like everything was fine but the opposite was felt by Americans in the real world.
Today, it seems to be the opposite. People's conditions are improving but the perception is that life is worse.
That's exactly why you have to separate how people feel, what they're being told, and what the underlying data actually show.
We're heading toward the 2026 midterms.
