It's time for his cabinet to (privately) threaten 25th Amendment unless he bows out.
The last stand is at hand. It’s time for the Democratic party to act.

Mr. President, I voted for you in 2020. I volunteered many hours to making cold calls for your campaign.
I'm now calling on you to resign from your 2024 bid. Why? Because I don't think you'll win, and frankly, I don't think you're up for another 4 years of this job.
You need to understand something: This election is not about YOU, Mr. President. It's about preserving democracy. The best way you can do that now is to bow out.

It was the Constitution Trump tried to overthrow after he lost the 2020 election, as he admitted when he called for its “termination.” He took the law into his own hands in an attempt to overturn the constitutional structure itself. That is what the 14th Amendment means by “insurrection or rebellion against” the Constitution.

If judges are just going to fine Trump a few thousand for each of these acts of intimidation, they're basically allowing him to buy the privilege of obstructing justice.

That Jack Smith is calling Trump out for what he is is a breath of fresh air.
NEW: Prosecutors' plea to Judge Chutkan to reimpose her gag order on Trump is a remarkable portrayal of a former president as an active danger — not just to the trial but to the physical safety of witnesses.
And they say he knows it but doesn't care.

BREAKING --Chesebro guilty plea to one felony (so better than the misdemeanors for Powell), but no jail time. He better be giving up others, to be able to avoid jail for crimes involving overthrowing the legitimate presidential election.

But Section 3 of the 14th Amendment says you can’t serve in federal office if you’ve taken the oath and then engaged in “insurrection or rebellion.” Jordan is disqualified for Speaker—but Banana Republicans don’t seem to care. Looking for a dozen pro-Constitution Republicans!

Please ask @chuckschumer on to your show tonight and ask him why he has not asked this corrupt agent of the Egyptian government to resign from the U.S. Senate yet.
