Feeling truly blessed! Happy to update my RFES School Family that retired life in Florida is wonderful. Surviving Hurricane Ian with no damage to our home, no flooding, & no loss of power feels miraculous. Thank you to those who reached out with care and prayers. #grateful @rfes

First NO SCHOOL Monday FOREVER! What was I thinking when I decided to retire, sell a house, pack up a house, and MOVE to Florida all at the same time? Somehow we're giving it our BEST shot! Enjoying the ride time on the Auto Train to read all my lovely cards. @RodgersForgeES

Thank you to our INCREDIBLE RFES PTA! You've been so supportive to our teachers, students, faculty & staff during my years at Rodgers Forge. It has been a pleasure to work together to make RFES better one day at a time. I will miss everyone at The Forge. @missyfanshaw @rfespta

Such a great way to celebrate everybody's favorite principal today! "FANSHAW FRIDAY" gave us ALL a chance to honor our amazing "QUEEN" as she enjoys her last days with us before retirement. 🥰👸❤️ @missyfanshaw @mrowlandRFES @RodgersForgeES

Don't want to spoil the surprise of what's inside, but these K students used "FUN Friday Following Directions" time to create gifts & cards for their sweet Moms. They also wrote letters. 👩‍👦❤ Wishing all TEAM BCPS Moms a Happy Mother's Day! @missyfanshaw @RodgersForgeES

This week's ELA essential question was: What do good citizens do? These good citizens followed our "FUN Friday Following Directions" project in order to make the Little Red Hen from one of our stories. #Wonders #unit9week2 @missyfanshaw @RodgersForgeES

Fun Friday "Following Directions" activities included making Earth Day crowns and designing our own "Save Energy" switch plates. We went to our outdoor classroom location for writing time to show how we use our helping hands to HELP the Earth. 🥰 @missyfanshaw @RodgersForgeES
