I keep hearing John Horgan described as a great centrist premier, most recently by Brad West on CKNW.
I strongly disagree.
Horgan rode the coattails of the strong economy he inherited from the BC Liberals, then introduced 35 new taxes that steadily eroded BCโs competitiveness. The economic consequences were not immediately apparent by some, but the cumulative damage is felt by everyone today.
Eby accelerated the decline, but Horgan laid the groundwork.
This applies equally to @mario4thenorth @KatKanada_TM @dsimieritsch @MarcNixon24 who were all pulling for the now dead @One_BCHQ

On September 21, you were telling us about your 75 million views a month. The voters were yours. Yours, not anybody elseโs. You even put it in capital letters, just so weโd understand how important you were.
Apparently, you forgot to tell the voters.
Iโve been involved in a few elections, Felicia, and hereโs something I learned: the voters donโt belong to you. You have to earn their trust. And buying a ring light doesnโt make you a kingmaker.

Love that @Dallas_Brodie didn't even make the top four in her riding, with a vote count of less than 500.
Will be nice to see @wyatt_claypool @AnthonyRussoBC and the rest of their crazies disappear. @One_BCHQ serves no purpose, and is now officially dead.
As someone who worked directly with @LDoerkson, I can't even begin to adequately communicate what kind of a decent, caring, compassionate man he is.
British Columbia is going to do very well with him at the helm. Hope has finally returned to the province.
