Excited to announce Night of the Middie Dead 2024, @MiddletownOH’s annual screening of the 1968 classic #nightoftheliving dead, brought to you by the @SorgOperaHouse and the Middletown High School Class of 2025!
Night of the Living Dead set the tone for a brand of genre that still resonates today… here is an opportunity to see the original American masterpiece on the big screen!
Congrats to Cathie on a great career. She was someone who was super enthusiastic about some of the “outside the box” approaches I’ve been taking in my classroom with #WKRPinMiddletown and #MiddieMASH. Her support always meant the world to me.
“I’m grateful to the Middletown voters, for allowing me this experience and the last chapter of a 60-year process of learning different aspects of education,” Mulligan said. BOE member Cathie Mulligan has announced her resignation, effective 7/31/24.

Frank Huffman was my neighbor and friend. He took part in a project where Middletown students looked the Korean War through the lens of the classic TV show MASH.
I knew it was important for Middies to have contact with a real veteran of that war to truly understand the conflict
… and Frank was game. He answered questions from my Seniors. His answers belied a man proud of his service to his country.
I was proud to have given the Class of 2023 that perspective.
I think it’s one that younger generations of Americans need to hear more often in school.
Frank passed away this week. I’ll miss him. I’m always going to be happy our paths crossed. I’m grateful to him for working with me. I hope he knew how much he meant to us. #MiddieMASH
