🚀DEFINICA STAGE 1 CONTRACT DEPLOYMENT - ETHEREUM MAINNET
We are pleased to announce that Definica’s core smart contracts have been deployed and verified on Ethereum Mainnet.
This represents a major milestone in the process of bringing Stage 1 of the Definica protocol online.

Both addresses are ERC-1967 proxy entry points backed by their respective verified DefinicaCore and EthPooledStakingVault implementations.
WHAT THIS DEPLOYMENT MEANS
The deployment establishes the on-chain foundation for Definica Stage 1: a vault-backed pooled ETH staking architecture designed around transparent position accounting and Ethereum validator operations.
It is an important technical milestone, but it is not yet the final activation of public staking.
WHAT COMES NEXT
Our next step is to formally notify the StakeWise team and community about the deployment and provide the relevant contracts and technical documentation for review.
We will then prepare and submit the appropriate application and governance proposal seeking:
• review of Definica’s custom EthPooledStakingVault;
• inclusion of the Vault proxy in the StakeWise VaultsRegistry;
• support from the relevant StakeWise oracle and Keeper infrastructure;
• onboarding of the Vault as an operational Pooled Staking Vault, subject to the applicable technical and governance requirements.
The final scope and approval process will remain subject to StakeWise and StakeWise DAO review.
IMPORTANT STATUS NOTICE
The contracts are deployed on Ethereum Mainnet, but Definica Stage 1 is not yet publicly operational.
The Vault has not yet been approved or onboarded by StakeWise. Users should not deposit ETH or interact with the contracts until Definica publishes an official activation announcement and operating instructions.

Deleted a bunch of old code today and somehow it felt more productive than writing new code 😂
There’s something satisfying about removing logic that used to be necessary but is now just sitting there adding complexity. Less code, fewer assumptions, fewer things that can randomly break six months from now.

Today was basically 20% meetings, 30% reviewing technical decisions, 20% helping unblock people and 30% wondering why my calendar has absolutely no empty space left 😂
But we closed the day with everything scheduled for the release still on track, two blockers gone and a much cleaner plan for the next sprint.
Can't complain. Some days engineering management feels less like managing software and more like making sure 50 moving pieces don't crash into each other.

Conference planning season means my browser currently has flights, hotels, calendars, creator profiles, event schedules and approximately 700 Google Docs open at the same time 😂
The fun part is watching everything slowly connect. Someone we're meeting at an event introduces us to someone else, that turns into a call, the call turns into an idea and three months later there's a partnership nobody had planned in the first place.
Probably why I still love this job. You never really know which conversation is going to matter.

Across Protocol confirmed the ACX Exchange portal is delayed, targeting "the end of August," and some exchanges may start delisting ACX in the meantime.

A short update on The Bridge Across:
Our team has been diligently working with legal counsel to get through the final hurdles of the ACX Exchange program. That said, the timelines for the ACX Exchange have been slightly delayed. Our exchange portal will go live soon, with a target of the end of August.
Some exchanges may begin to delist ACX. This is normal and expected, and in no way affects the ACX Exchange program. Please be sure to move your tokens to self-custody wallets to be best prepared for when the ACX Exchange portal goes live.
