Holy smokes Apple cooked with the iPhone Duo. If you’re on the fence about getting this device, don’t be. Give it a shot .
Apple reports earnings tomorrow, the first with John Ternus as CEO. I'm less interested in last quarter's iPhone number and more in what they say about Duo demand heading into the holidays.

iPhone Duo owners, what are you running on yours: full case, MagSafe grip, or naked? Curious what people actually settled on after a few weeks.
Posting lighter this week since my surgery is Tuesday. Quick one while I recover: if you could add one setting to iOS, what would it be? Mine is a real clear cache button per app.
Halloween's done and this year’s been flying by.
November's a big one for me. Nose surgery in a couple of days so I can finally breathe properly and get back into fitness and get healthy again.
Lots to do, one step at a time. Come along for the ride 🎃
Apple just made its first touchscreen MacBook Pro. Honest question: would you actually reach up and tap your laptop screen, or is touch on a Mac solving a problem nobody had?
Hot take: battery is the most underrated thing about the iPhone 18 Pro Max. I came from a Galaxy S26 Ultra and the 18 Pro Max is a 2-day phone for me. Spec sheets list hours, but the real test is whether you can skip a night of charging.
If I'm picking a case for the iPhone Duo, hinge coverage is the first thing I check. That's the part sitting out in the open every time it's folded. What are you running on yours?
iPhone Duo owners: has anyone actually gone through Apple for the inner screen crack yet? Curious how fast the replacement was and whether they swapped it on the spot.
Apple sending stores a memo on the iPhone Duo inner screen cracks is a good start. A public repair program page would calm owners down way faster than an internal memo.
iPhone Duo owners, one week in: do you use it folded or unfolded more? Curious if the outer screen is enough for most people day to day. My usage is probably 80% folded and 20% unfolded
145K folds is already about 4 years at 100 folds a day. Curious if CNET keeps it running until something actually gives.
Agreed, the hardware is the easy part to love. What's holding the Duo back for me is apps. Too many still don't use the inner screen properly.

Lens protector or a case with a raised camera lip?
I'd take the raised lip every time. Nothing extra sitting over the lenses. What are you running?
Real question for iPhone Duo owners. The hardware is there. What's missing is apps built for the inner screen.
Which app have you seen handle it best so far? I need recommendations.
Apple is about to ship a touchscreen OLED MacBook Pro, an OLED iPad mini, the HomePod mini 2 and a new Apple TV 4K, all between now and Nov 13.
If you could only grab one, which one and why?
I have both on my desk now. The iPhone 18 Pro Max is the one I never think about charging. The iPhone Duo is the one I actually want to pick up.
If you could only keep one, which are you taking?
iPhone Duo owners, what are you running for a case? Full coverage with a hinge cover, or a slim shell and living dangerously? Curious what people are actually using day to day already
