I feel like Grok Bot isn't for everyone
For $200 you get objectively worse rate limits than you do on Claude Code.
It is really useful but I would not choose Grok Bot if you only have $200 to spend.
If I had a budget of around $400, I would maybe just get two Claude subs because at that point Grok Bot isn't really worth it.
Even though it provides a lot of value as a tool, the limits for $200 are bad.

This is part of why people who try Omarchy on some old potato PC find that their new MacBook machine suddenly isn't very attractive in comparison. There are a lot of common developer tasks that are just way, way faster on Linux (it's the same with Docker!).

I've been testing @OpenBot_ (open alternative to Grok Bot) and I have to admit it's one of the coolest apps I've seen for a while. And it's made in Poland!
I fully moved my bots from grok
- Terra 6.1 as default (as fast and more intelligent than grok)
- Opus 5.5 for advanced bots (research, code)
My biggest paint point right now - lack of native multi account integrations with with Gmail and Drive, grokbot has it, but I suspect it will come.

I'm so cooked that my own @bot rather refuse to dig deeper not to burn more tokens. Grok Bot Ultra really feels more like ChatGPT Plus but for 10x more money.
My Grok Bots burned the Ultra quota in 3 days, so I added #GrokBot to my Am I Cooked skill 🍳
Now they check their own weekly allowance before big jobs and back off when it's low.
Also works with #ClaudeCode, #Codex and Cursor.

Please, someone finally find a way how to replace Alexa in Echo with @NousResearch Hermes Agent so I can have a really smart speaker at home.
