The network settles node rewards, staking and payments on XDC. Which means our storage layer has always depended on a consensus layer we did not help operate.
Running masternodes changes that. We now contribute to validating the chain our own economics run on, rather than only consuming it.
It does not make storage faster. It makes the dependency mutual — we carry part of the load of the thing we rely on. That seemed like the right posture for anyone calling themselves infrastructure.

東野圭吾さんの遺産約50億に対して、お二人の姉が約33億円の相続税を払うとの試算が出ていますね。
50億×55％(最高税率)×1.2倍(兄弟姉妹は2割増)=33億
という試算だと思います。
この33億を原則として10ヶ月以内に現金一括納税です。
物納制度はありますが、ほとんど認められません。
分割払いもありますが、利息を取られます。
現金がなければ、不動産や家財をなんとか現金に変えたり、借金をして納税するしかないです。
遺族をさらに苦しめる相続税のルールは、抜本的に変えて欲しいと思います。
10ヶ月以内の現金一括納税はほんとキツすぎます。
現金一括納税をルールにするなら、相続財産のうち、現金に対しては少し税率を上げ、現金以外のものは税率を下げるなどしたら、現金を使う人が多くなって、もっと経済が活性化するんじゃないかと個人的には思います。
そもそも相続税がなければ一番嬉しいです。
一生懸命働いて所得税と住民税を55％取られて、社会保険も引いたら、手残りは約4割ぐらい。
その約4割を残して亡くなったら、今度はそれに相続税を55％×1.2倍=66％を取られ、残りは約13％。
これに納得して一生懸命働こうと思う人っているんですかね？
