more in common than many astrologers / practitioners would care to believe, which is why lots of water signs (like pisces, for example) to me share traits with air signs. on an elemental level, i think it shows how water is the connector of everything.

one - i think it speaks to the versatility of water, that it can interact / become so many different elements without losing itself. but two, i think we assign a level of depth to water placements that is sometimes offset by this. water and air placements have 1/2
Water and earth obviously have a cosmic association, but I think we underestimate waterβs connection to air. Water can turn into gas, earth cannot turn into water
