Citizens from various regions were educated on agroecology and indigenous seeds at the Private zone pavilion 3 of the Tanzania Gender Networking Programme (TGNP), during the climax of the Nane Nane Agricultural Exhibition held today, August 8, 2025, at Nzuguni Grounds in Dodoma.
At the pavilion, visitors were introduced to high-quality seeds of various crops produced by rural women's groups supported through the Rural Women Cultivating Change (RWCC) project.
The initiative aims to empower women farmers by promoting sustainable agriculture and driving both social and economic transformation in their communities.

Je unakumbuka Dira ya Maendeleo 2025?
🧷Ilitaja neno jinsia mara 5 tu kwenye waraka mzima.

TGNP is proud to host the Facilitation Fundamentals Workshop in Dar es Salaam from July 7–11, as part of the global ENGAGE! Project.
TGNP team are joining partners from India, Bangladesh, and Ethiopia to build facilitation skills that will strengthen Knowledge Centres.
These centres help empower women and girls to become active citizens and leaders, advance gender equality, reduce poverty, and support community-led, asset-based development.
“We are excited to make connections and share experiences with our new friends and colleagues in India, Bangladesh, and Ethiopia through the ENGAGE! Project.”— TGNP
