Just over a week ago, @united somehow damaged my bag and refused my claim. Thankfully, @tumitravel stood by their products and repaired my bag even though it’s almost 12 years old. It’s not always about what you pay for a product but whether they stand by it. – at Oakland, CA
Old Faithful @tumitravel lasted me 12 years and over 500k miles in the sky, but it's time to say goodbye. Thanks @united

Should you care? Well, as a consumer, you can expect to receive a lot fewer “missing package” and “confirm your payment” scam messages #sms #leadgeneration #CyberSecurity #smsmarketing #marketing – at Oakland, CA
A marketer like @AquilaFarrell well it will also extend Do Not Call protections to SMS which allows companies to use your single consent to deliver robocalls and text messages from multiple – perhaps thousands – of marketers on subjects that may not be of interest. – at Oakland, CA
During my time in Kenya and simply observing who owns many of the businesses, I am reminded that “Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed." - Booker T. Washington
A friend reminded me yesterday of a particular past achievement that was once a goal of mine 15 years ago. That was a reminder to reflect and be proud of what you’ve accomplished because it’s all too easy to forget those monuments on the journey.
Today I listened to the “Redemption Song” by Bob Marley on repeat for over an hour during my bike ride. I could not help but notice how the socio-political context of its time is still applicable today—the oppression faced by those of African descent remains.
He said, “Have no fear for Atomic energy because none of them can stop the time” it was not until today I internalized that we are living in destruction. Still, that destruction cannot stop the fundamental progression of time.
