Quite interesting
The two met at the premiere of Chaplin’s movie “City Lights” in Los Angeles in 1931.
Chaplin was fascinated by Einstein’s violin playing. Einstein, in turn, was impressed by Chaplin’s intuitive understanding of complex subjects.
The meeting has often been cited as an example of the universality of genius, highlighting how two very different kinds of brilliance can appreciate and inspire each other.

When Albert Einstein met Charlie Chaplin in 1931, Einstein said, "What I admire most about your art is its universality. You do not say a word, and yet the world understands you." "It's true." Replied Chaplin, "But your fame is even greater. The world admires you, when no one understands you."
