From food stamps to the top floors of New York City! 🇺🇸 Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I'd one day be doing my morning Bible study while looking out over the Manhattan skyline, then working remotely as the CEO of a company I built from my moms garage! @the27north I came to America as an immigrant with two bags of clothes. Growing up on food stamps, I used to believe that other kids had opportunities I simply didn't. But I was wrong. America gave me something far more valuable than a head start. The opportunity to dream and the freedom to pursue those dreams. It certainly hasn't been easy. I've worked 120+ hour weeks. I've slept on the floor of my office. I've experienced setbacks, disappointments, and moments when giving up seemed like the easiest option. But through every season, I held on to two things. My faith in God and the belief that tomorrow could be better than today. And today, in this new chapter isn't just about pursuing my own dreams. It's about helping my wife pursue hers. She is launching her luxury fashion brand, Davere, in New York City, while I continue leading and growing 27North! Nina Bosovik There's something incredibly special about reaching a point in life where you get to help someone you love pursue their American dream. I'm not sharing this because I've made it... Far from it. I still have so much to learn and accomplish. I'm sharing it because somewhere out there is another young entrepreneur or dreamer who believes their circumstances determine their future. They don't. Your beginning doesn't have to determine your ending. Keep dreaming. Keep working. Keep your faith. And never underestimate what God can do with a life that's willing to keep showing up.
