Give local manufacturers zero-duty machinery, targeted tariffs protection, pipeline gas connections, and cheap credit so they can crush imports on price. If you just want to buy and sell finished goods, you're on your own.

Local industries need protection not local traders, let the free market satisfy the consumer. No be una Dey always talk “the primary function of the government is to make life easier for the citizens” why you against easier life through cheaper goods now?

I find it frustrating when people blame Africa’s slow progress entirely on Western powers. Don't get me wrong, declassified CIA documents prove that foreign interference is real. However, Africans themselves carry a huge part of the blame.
