I can understand where he's coming from. Self-reliance for ourselves and our families is indeed the goal. But governments play an important role in creating the environment where self-reliance can be realised, particularly in preserving rights and freedoms, so complete disengagement is not ideal. That's how government becomes corrupt - when good people walk away or choose to not be involved and the remaining people are not the best candidates to serve

I support Massie to the extent that he works closely with Ro Khanna on key issues, which he does a lot. So kudos to him. That said, there's no govt agency called Big Pharma. There's no govt Department of Big Pharma. Big Pharma = corporations. TAX and REGULATE. Solved.
