ALT 4年前アメリカで「ドナルド・トランプ大統領」という存在が誕生してしまったとき、わたしはお風呂で少し泣いた。ドナルド・トランプという人間の社会的ペルソナは、資本主義と個人主義がその理想を挫かれ行き詰まっているこの社会において、数字として最大限そのパフォーマンスを発揮するために必要なふるまいを理解していて、差別的かつ排外主義的な態度を繰り返すことによって、それが「強さ」や「強者らしさ」であるかのようにたくさんの人間に思い込ませることに成功した。わたしは、その本質的ではない「強さ」を支持せざるを得なくなってしまった人間がたくさん居るということが悲しかった。

It was a great sadness for me that there’re many people who couldn’t help supporting such the sham strength.
