The countdown is on to the 2026 Stelios Foundation North–South Business Cooperation Awards Ireland, taking place on Wednesday 28 October at Castle Leslie Estate, County Monaghan.
Now in their second year, the Awards, established by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou and delivered in partnership with Co-operation Ireland, recognise and reward entrepreneurs who are building stronger business links between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
With a total prize fund of €500,000, the initiative aims to promote lasting peace, economic prosperity and stronger communities through cross-border entrepreneurship and collaboration.
We look forward to celebrating this year’s outstanding entrepreneurs and recognising the businesses helping to build a more connected and prosperous island of Ireland!
New builds need better connectivity planning, according to easyNetworks.co.uk
As modern buildings become more energy-efficient, materials such as steel, foil-backed insulation and reflective glass can make it harder for mobile signals to reach indoors. easyNetworks.co.uk is encouraging developers to plan for mobile coverage inside the building early, helping to avoid costly changes and delays once a building is ready for handover.
Planning ahead allows cabling requirements, equipment locations and antenna positions to be considered during the design stage of the building, with installation carried out during fit-out. This can be simpler and more cost-effective than retrofitting a system once a building is complete.
easyNetworks follows a three-step approach to help get installations right:
A desktop survey: including reviewing plans and specifying equipment.
A site survey: including measuring signal strength across the building and identifying coverage gaps.
Installation and handover: The final step with coverage tested across networks and adjusted until it meets expectations.
easyNetworks has a depth of real-world experience, installing network solutions for companies such as Rich Foods, Ty UK & Dacia. Their approach has recently delivered results at AFC Bournemouth’s Canford training facility. When the building was close to handover with no usable indoor mobile signal, easyNetworks carried out a rapid survey and installed an Ofcom-compliant booster system. The result was strong coverage across all four major UK networks, without delaying handover.
Whether you require networking for a new or existing building, easyNetworks.co.uk helps deliver solutions that keep people connected.

Planning your next getaway just got a little easier, with easyJet launching a new integration inside ChatGPT conversation that allows customers to directly search for flights and package holidays.
Announced on 5 October 2026, the new integration allows customers to search for and access live availability and pricing for flights and holiday packages, helping them discover travel options within a Chat GPT conversation. Once they have found their ideal escape, they can continue to easyJet.com or easyJet holidays to complete their booking.
The launch reflects the growing role of AI in travel planning and easyJet’s commitment to harness this technology. easyJet’s own research found that 51% of those surveyed had already used AI to plan a trip, with ChatGPT the most popular platform among those using AI for travel planning.
The new integration is another way easyJet is using technology to make discovering and planning a trip simple for customers – one of the ethos that motivated Sir Stelios to establish his easy family of brands.
Ready to start planning? Search easyJet flights and holidays in ChatGPT, then visit easyJet.com to book your next adventure.
