At the @frontutah conference a few weeks ago, Rob and I shared the story of how we came up with the idea of the @theflagmachine to troll the Utah flag initiative and how we think it may have influenced the new Utah flag.

You can “take a break” with your kids and create your own Utah flag (helpful tool flagmachine.com) and submit it at flag.Utah.gov. #utpol

Taking a break from homework to help my friend @danmccay design a new state flag for Utah. I'm intrigued by this simplicity. Black and Yellow for bees, five stripes to honor each of Utah's native tribes: call it a day. It also has strong "Sons of Liberty" vibes for 'Merica crowd.

Want to design your own state flag? You’ve got until April 30th to tell Utah’s leaders what you’d like to see on a new banner and the guys at @theflagmachine want to help you create something special! Story this morning on @KSL5TV #KSLTV - Mine has delicate arch 🤔 – at Salt Lake City, UT

This is fun! I shared it with my 8th grade art scholar who recently won the Utah Youth Art Month flag competition! I told her about Utah wanting a new flag design and said, "Go for it!" #utedchat #eduhive

I like this one: Beehive = industry/state motto Blue = homage to old flag, blue skies, integrity Red = Utah's red rock, power White = purity, honesty, snow-capped mountains

Hi there. The state of Utah is accepting submissions for a new state flag design. But not everyone is a designer or artist. So @therobfoster and I built this neat tool. flagmachine.com Please share with your non-designer friends and family. Peace.
