no because it's so disrespectful to indulge in fan works of a character/ship the actor who played said character loved when said actor passed away. its so disrespectful to want to celebrate his performance with a part of the fandom he supported and played into. so disrespectful.
before more millennials get pissy with me in my replies, i hold sir patrick stewart in quite a high regard for not only his work as a performer but also for his work as in activist for multiple causes. he just also loved playing into cherik with sir ian mckellen.
making lighthearted but sad commentary about the event of a website where many fanworks about the ship that he supported(!!!) are housed being down coinciding with his death does not negate the respect that i have for him as a performer or an activist. obviously.
