Probably an all time terrible opinion. All the class players I started out playing with or against played Sundays as well and half of what made them great was because they handled or dominated that environment
Every Saturday I check the results and there are just so many non league managers out there getting job after job but doing nothing except having a nice certificate on their wall. Then you have the ones who can actually manage in the playoff places, winning FA Cup games etc etc
This must be an all time awful Liverpool team. I mean they’ve got like 2 or 3 players maximum who should be there really
Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday isn’t a three game week ffs. It’s 2 games then a new week starts! Just total manager bollocks that’s become an excuse to throw around
🦊#LCFC | Russell Martin says today’s 4-0 defeat against Oxford United was ‘unacceptable’.
Leicester City have won 1️⃣ game out of their opening 5️⃣ in League One.

Sometimes a club and a manager just fit together. Batch has put together a really likeable side from the couple of games I’ve seen and I think they will take a few scalps this season
Remember watching this in the school holidays and thinking it was the greatest thing ever
Hilarious that Szoboszlai does that chatting celebration when you’ve contributed a nonsense performance like that.
Massively enjoyed (and needed) the break from football last season but the first day of the season buzz is impossible to replace.
Can’t wait to get out and watch a few games then jump back in when the time and opportunity is right 👀 Good luck to all starting today ⚽️
Of course it’s on Tuchel. If you’ve managed literally any level, you know if you make defensive subs and it goes wrong then you’ll get slaughtered, mostly by your own players! Just didn’t seem the sort of game where we needed to sit in, they aren’t that good

How are we actually going to solve the AI poster epidemic? Must we be subjected to horrible identical slop from every single pub and shop for the rest of time?
Amazing how every Stevie Step 5 manager has all the answers for England but in two months you’ll be watching their teams serve up utter dross and blaming it all on the refs
The fact we do this all the time should be enough to get McCullum sacked on its own. Imagine constantly getting points deducted in any other sport and just laughing it off! Never been as disengaged as with this arrogant for no reason side
To cheer England up, they’ve been fined 12 World Test Championship points for their dismal over-rate at The Oval - one point for each over they fell short. That takes them from 50 points in the WTC to 38, and all but ends what little chance they already had of reaching the final. Also fined half their match fee.
Nice way of outing yourself as completely thick
Messi could be 65 and he’ll never be as bad as Ronaldo is now. Don’t see how it’s even remotely a conversation
Ange is a cracking pundit. Has his faults as a manager (who doesn’t) but the way he talks about the game, you can see why players want to play for him
Can’t wait to see what the World Cup moaners find to whinge about there. That was proper heart and soul
A great day as weirdly this was the day we got Sky installed at home and I remember panicking that the engineer was going to be dicking around with the telly while the game was on
08/06/1996:
The start of Euro 96. What a fantastic tournament and summer that was.
Hosts England kicked it off against Switzerland. Things of note:
Star striker Alan Shearer, without an England goal for nearly two years, scored to set himself up for a great Championship.
Gary Neville was pinging shots in from 30 yards out.
Gazza looked ready for something big. His touches and flicks looked great, and his confidence was high.
Portugal’s coach, Artur Jorge, had a fantastic moustache-and-hair combo.
Ultimately, though, the game finished 1-1 and the dream of a famous summer still felt a long way off.
