I just spoke to a grandpa in Jackson County who said he wanted to vote but he wasn’t going to because it’s hard for him to go alone so his granddaughter came and picked him up so they could vote for Abdul together 💙😭 We got the older white grandpas

I know Abdul has the younger vote but I really wish younger voters picked up the phone but we millennials don’t like to answer calls 😭

For the past 8 months, I have met countless Arab American and Jewish American voters that love Abdul El-Sayed’s platform, his anti-genocide and pro-American policies and how he makes them excited to vote again. But I’ve never seen these stories covered in the media. Democrats lost the trust of Arab American in Michigan, one of the largest communities in the country. Why aren’t establishment Democrats expected to earn back their trust? Instead, they’ve gone even further in the opposite direction and like to point to the “Dearborn vote” when they need someone to blame.
Haley Stevens on voting for Abdul El-Sayed: "I still very much want our Democratic nominee, his name is Abdul, to win this race. There is so much on the line. But I will be honest, there are a lot of voters in Michigan, I was out knocking doors earlier today, and they are still undecided and they are hurt and they are confused..."

Michigan has the 6th largest Muslim population in the country. Democrats have treated them as lesser than for years but Abdul has fought and earned their trust. Why isn’t that talked about?

It’s so crazy that it’s only been a few weeks since Hasan Piker was our biggest problem in Michigan. Feels like a lifetime ago

Hi, I'm free. Beat up but fine. Police stole my phone. Settlers punched me in the face several times, likely broke @AdeleShoko's wrist and gave @the_andrey_x a concussion. They threatened to shoot us with an assault rifle over and over. Will tell the full story later, but for now, I just want to be clear about what happened. We witnessed two settlers locking a military gate in Umm al-Khair, blocking the only way to more than twenty Palestinian communities: trapping families inside, preventing students from reaching school and workers from their jobs, blocking delivery of food and access to ambulances, etc. It's a crime that the military has this ability at all--but last night, we discovered that random settler terrorists also have the key. We confronted them and began asking questions on camera, and they nearly murdered us for it. When the police finally arrived, they arrested Andrey and me and charged us with assault. The gate is still locked.

If the “Dearborn vote” (Brown/Muslim/Arab voters who now overwhelmingly support Abdul) were the reason Michigan went red in 2024, why wouldn’t they be the reason we go blue in 2026? Where was this apparent consequential Zionist vote two years ago?
If you're trying to understand why so many Michigan Jewish Democrats are defecting, I wrote in August about it. It's not, per se, about foreign policy. theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0…

Anyone to the left of Republicans should be supporting @hasanthehun and hope he wins this. Republicans have sunk to new lows in slandering Democratic voters and candidates this midterm season, from clip chimped videos about Hasan to AI generated ads filled with lies. We need to set a precedent and hold them accountable.
Hasan Piker's (@hasanthehun) lawsuit against Scott Jennings (@ScottJenningsKY) has been assigned to Judge Amit Mehta, the Obama appointee who presided over the trial of Oath Keepers leader Stewart Rhodes and the Jan. 6 civil lawsuit against Trump brought by police/lawmakers

That goes for the centrists that apparently hate republicans more than the left does. The Neeras, Shannons and Sarahs of the world

There have been so many lies about this race, from Zionists to Hasan Piker to Dems for Mike Rogers. These people promoting said lies can’t keep their stories straight.

‼️ Black voter (50s, male) in Midtown Detroit told me he doesn’t understand not voting for Abdul. “He’s a Democrat, I want healthcare for all, and Obama endorsed him. What’s so hard?”
I have to travel next week for work so knocking on doors in Detroit tonight. Canvassing is my 5-9 after my 9-5 😅🚪

abdul el sayed and every muslim person around him has been called a radical islamic jihadist terrorist every single day by the entire political spectrum since he won the primary and i haven’t seen a single think piece or major media interview of an arab voter abt how this makes them feel. arab and muslim voters combined make up almost 4% of the electorate. jewish voters make up 1.4% & many of those jewish voters aren’t zionists or will let israel get in the way of preserving american democracy. so we’ve heard endlessly from a tiny group of potential spoiler voters who aren’t getting their way on a deeply unpopular issue- why?
