Elon is not a Nazi, he just
-agreed with someone who said Hitler was right
-boosts Holocaust deniers and Nazis every single day
-told everyone to watch a Holocaust denier on a podcast
-repeats Nazi propaganda
-has Nazi beliefs
-does Nazi salutes
Okay?

Can someone please explain to me how assassinating one rich person is considered terrorism, yet murdering scores of children at school in a mass shooting isn’t?

Today is International Migrants Day.
It’s the third week of Advent. Today I reflect on Mary’s words ringing out, “ He has cast down the mighty from their thrones, and has lifted up the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty.” It is hard for me to hear these words today, thinking of those experiencing unfathomable violence in Gaza, those people who have fled their homes and are waiting at the border, and many who, years after the pandemic are STILL struggling to get food on their tables, while the richest people in the world are still getting a whole lot richer. Yet, this is the hope of Emmanuel (God with us) Jesus didn’t ask us to transcend this world, but to fully be in it. To be here, sheltering the stranger, feeding the hungry, and making sure everyone has enough. If you are looking for Emmanuel this advent season, don’t go looking toward heaven, look around you, look at the simple meals you share together, even moments to see faces on zoom, in the sick, poor and vulnerable in our communities, this is what God with us is. Communion.

See, Berliners…things can always be worse!
The sun will set today in Barrow, Alaska (now #Utqiaġvik) and won't rise again until January 22nd. That's 64 days with NO SUN! 🧛♂️

You'll see photos of food, supplies, etc of what we're serving, but never photos of who we're serving. We believe in providing dignity & anonymity to a vulnerable group. Staged photo ops of feeding vulnerable people is not what we're about.

Another great day of service to the houseless community. 100 Firehouse Subs, drinks, supplies, etc. Thank you to all who contribute and make this possible. More committed than ever to make this burning world just a little bit better. @KatherineNOLA #TailgateTogether
Oh, Berlin. Of course the sun peeks out after I come inside for the day. Despite the cool wet morning we enjoyed a great Italian lunch and some lagniappe espresso. Now time for a Ruhetag nap! ♥️🇩🇪
Not sure how I feel about spilled coffee.
