ALP Dispute Settlement Hub(@AlpDisputeHub) is honoured to have partnered with the Judiciary of Uganda to roll out training of the first cohort of the 40 Hour specialised mediation training that is running from 17th August to 21st August 2026 at Hotel Traingle Mbarara. The training will lead to accreditation of court annexed mediators on basis of international standards. This ultimately will lead to deployment of well trained mediators , which in turn will lead to more effective mediations across western Uganda

🚨Honouring Leadership🚨 The Uganda Chamber of Energy and Minerals #UCEM together with it's valuable members, gathered to honour @HonNankabirwa for five years of transformative leadership in Uganda’s energy and minerals sector, while welcoming @DrMusenero to the docket. Under Hon. Nankabirwa’s leadership, Uganda witnessed significant milestones across oil and gas, energy and minerals, from progress towards first oil and EACOP, the commissioning of Karuma, reforms in petroleum supply, the transition in electricity distribution, to the Mining and Minerals Act 2022, the establishment of the Uganda National Mining Company and the revival of Kilembe.
