This still doesn't feel real. It was such a magical feeling! For the first time in 15 years I could go vertical...and for the first time ever I got to go upside down, sideways, and every which way. These are just the first photos from an insane journey @astroaccess @GoZeroG – at Long Beach, CA

BREAKING: The first indication of @BlueOrigin's New Glenn Return-To-Flight is here... December 28, 2026. The CADENA air traffic advisory lists this mission as "New Glenn 4.1". The rocket which exploded was "New Glenn-4". As ever, these dates are extremely provisional, and should be taken with a pinch of salt until more concrete information is released. 📷 @thenasaman/@NASASpaceflight

It might not have been as vibrant as last week's, but the jellyfish were out again today! SpaceX launching a Falcon 9 on the Bandwagon 5 mission, a rare (these days) southeastern launch. Being southeast of the launch made for a great side-on view right around sunrise. Learn more about what launched from @NASASpaceflight nasaspaceflight.com/2026/10/…

I'll throw in a second one for fun. Not as cool since it was earlier into flight but once I saw the plume glow like this, I knew we were in for a show!

I was broadcasting the launch this morning for @NASASpaceflight so I didn't get to see the jellyfish as it happened but popped out to catch the noctilucent clouds lingering afterwards! Did you see it?. Watch the stunning replays! youtube.com/live/_gdbS1AAkq0…

One rocket enters, two boosters return, three total launches! Falcon Heavy completing the third launch of the day and the second from Florida. You can see the two side cores also making their way back to LZ-1 and LZ-2. Isn't LZ-1 retired? Well LZ-40 was full from this morning's crew launch so we get a treat! You may have noticed the orange slides deploy during the Crew-13 launch. That's part of the emergency egress system. Artemis 2 did that intentionally but SpaceX confirmed in the briefing today it was an accident. They knew it could happen so not a big deal thankfully. You can see it in the pic but can also see it on the @NASASpaceflight livestream youtube.com/live/jxLT_ckNbIs…

The weather amazingly cooperated. I'd consider ourselves lucky, especially for Lucky 13! Crew-13 successfully launching to the ISS with 4 people, and it will be the fastest rendezvous and docking for a US vehicle with the station at just under 9 hours! Get ready to see more of the sky than ever before...and not just the gorgeous sky Falcon Heavy punched through this morning. The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope has been deployed and is on its way to L2! You've got to read up on the amazing things this telescope will do! @NASASpaceflight nasaspaceflight.com/2026/08/…

Let's hope Starship arrives at the Cape soon! Gonna miss those late night Starlink launches. They were never your ordinary Starlinks
This morning’s @SpaceX mission from pad 40 was the last planned Falcon 9 Starlink launch from Florida (and it launched on the fleet leading booster!!), marking the end of an era for these launches on the East Coast. From here on, Starlink missions out of Florida will fly on Starship. The West Coast team will continue regularly launching Starlink from Vandenberg.   Super proud of this incredible team. You’ve made Falcon 9 the most reliable launch vehicle in history. You also helped build the largest low-Earth orbit satellite constellation providing connectivity to millions around the world, and you’ve set the foundation for what’s next.   In the last seven years, Falcon has flown ~260 Starlink missions from the Cape… can’t wait until we launch that and many more with Starship!

Thanks again to Dave for the updates. People may wonder how Vulcan is already cleared to fly with its BE-4s, but apparently they are not the same BE-4 family that was on New Glenn Flight 3.
Wanted to give an update on the hotfire anomaly investigation. Progress continues. The anomaly originated at the main oxygen valve on one of the BE-4 engines, which was later confirmed by hardware recovery and inspections. Extensive component-level and engine hotfire tests have been conducted to understand the failure mode better and inform mitigations. The path forward is clear. We're making small modifications to the valve that can be quickly retrofitted to existing engines. We’re manufacturing the updated hardware, which will be ready by the end of this month. In parallel, we're working through the remaining fault tree analysis.

Residents of Central Florida got quite the wakeup in the early morning hours as Falcon 9 launched the NROL-95 mission, its contents classified. If the launch didn't wake you the RTLS sonic booms probably did! Miss it? @NASASpaceflight has you covered! youtube.com/live/7QchKzHqvOM…

We found Ship 40 floating in the ocean At the time of the capture, 2026-07-27 03:56 UTC, Ship 40 had been floating for 56 hours. Using @MarineTraffic data, I estimated the position of Ship 40 and recovery ship GO Australis at the time of when the satellite imagery would be taken. Harry Stranger then tasked an @UmbraSpace Synthetic-aperture Radar (SAR) satellite. 🛰️ Umbra / SpaceFromSpace
