One of the best things about indie games is that nobody asked for them. No meeting of people in suits decided your game should exist. You just wanted to make something cool that you love. Never forget that's your biggest strength You're indie. Be weird, be raw, be authentic! ❤️

Rest in peace, Eric. Thank you for taking up the mantle and breathing new life into Looney Tunes icons like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, and other countless beloved characters. Your joy and kindness will live on in the hearts of animation fans everywhere.

I actually think Netflix is suffering right now for the opposite reason. From the newsletter yesterday:

The ending portions of the Big Walk game are so good. Be careful not to look up spoilers, but it’s incredibly well done.

Favorite part of the Aleks Le action short is when he said “it’s Daredevil time” and then Daredeviled all over those guys

It's crazy how Yana Toboso designed the twisted King Candy design for Nougat by making him kind of look bald but not with his peach hair gradient into grey. It's absolute genius! 😭

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.
